Fortnite guides associate Chaos Cubes with Chapter 7 Season 2’s Path of the Voyager, but the current total and a complete live map are not firmly established. The eight locations that recur in guide coverage are Dark Dominion, Battlewood Boulevard, Painted Palms, Wonkeeland, Sus Studios, Humble Hills, Fore Fields, and Latte Landing. Treat that list as a practical search route, not a verified exhaustive list; check your in-game quest panel for the current objective and progress.
Reported Chaos Cube locations
Third-party guides associate Chaos Cubes with the Dark Voyager questline and identify these eight named POIs. The guides do not establish that every cube currently available is confined to these locations.

TheSpike’s 2026 guide reports 40 cubes across those eight locations, while a March 2026 guide from All Things How also gives individual position details. These are guide-reported placements, not an Epic-confirmed current map. TheSpike’s Chaos Cube locations guide and All Things How’s guide can help with the listed areas, but check their dates and coverage against your game version.
How to search an area efficiently
- Choose one POI and clear it systematically. Work through its buildings and surrounding spaces before moving to another named area, so you can tell which places you have already searched.
- Check inside as well as outside. Guide examples include cubes inside buildings and on furnishings. Do not stop after checking the first obvious structure.
- Look at elevated and peripheral spots. Search upper levels and less prominent edges of the area in addition to ground-level routes.
- Watch the minimap while you move. One guide reports an exclamation-mark minimap cue when a cube is nearby. Treat that as reported behavior, not a guaranteed indicator in every version.
- Use the quest panel to confirm progress. It is the best in-game check of what your current quest requires and how many you have collected; a guide’s count may refer to a different version or objective state.
How many Chaos Cubes are there?
Published totals conflict, so no single number should be treated as the confirmed current total. The figures below are claims made by the named guides in 2026, not official Epic confirmation.

| Guide | Reported figure | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| TheSpike, 2026 | 40 cubes across eight named locations | A guide count; current completeness is not established. |
| All Things How, 2026 | 70 cubes | The guide also claims 4,000 XP per cube and an 80,000 XP bonus; these reward figures are not officially confirmed here and may depend on version. |
| CloudsPress, 2026 | Reports of 40, 45, or 70 | The article presents competing reports rather than a verified live total. |
Because both the total and the covered areas differ between guides, use a guide’s count only alongside its publication date and the quest panel in your current game. Do not assume that a higher figure describes cubes already available: some reporting framed 70 as an expected total, not a confirmed live one. CloudsPress’s comparison of reported totals discusses the discrepancy.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is there a complete current map?
The available guide coverage does not establish one definitive, fully current map. A useful location guide should show individual cube positions, identify how many areas it covers, give its update or publication date, and make clear whether its count was checked against the in-game quest panel. A list of eight POIs is a starting point, not proof that it includes every currently available cube.
