Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix v32.00 brought back a remixed Chapter 2 island for Battle Royale, with locations and loot changing through the season. The genuinely new map was Oasis for Reload, not the main Battle Royale map. Epic’s 2024 announcement also detailed featured character loot, a four-week Remix Pass, Locker changes and updates for creators.
Was there a new Battle Royale map in Chapter 2 Remix?
No. Epic described the Battle Royale island as a return of Chapter 2, remixed and reimagined, with featured locations and loot introduced over the season. The first announced change began November 2, 2024: The Doggpound replaced The Agency as Snoop Dogg’s headquarters. Epic’s announcement framed the island as a weekly progression, not a single map configuration that stayed unchanged throughout the season. Epic Games’ Chapter 2 Remix announcement was published November 1, 2024.
The new map in Epic’s announcement was for Reload: Oasis, a desert map for the Reload mode. That distinction matters because the Battle Royale island was returning content, while Oasis was the new map.
Which locations and character weapons were featured?
Epic tied several featured characters to named locations and special loot. The announcement identified these pairings:

What was in the Remix Pass?
Epic described the Remix Pass as a shorter-than-usual pass designed to be completed over four weeks. Its November 2024 announcement listed over 70 in-game rewards, a price of 950 V-Bucks, or access through a Fortnite Crew subscription. Players could earn up to 1,000 V-Bucks by progressing the pass. These are announcement-era details and do not confirm that the pass or its offer is currently available.
