Epic’s November 2024 early notes put Ice Spice at Ice Isle from November 14 and first scheduled Fortnite v32.10 for November 12. Epic revised that schedule on November 8: v32.10 and the Reload map rotation were then planned for November 13. A November 12 update also confirmed that Kicks would not release in v32.10. Epic did not publish an exact maintenance start time or downtime duration in these announcements.
When was Fortnite v32.10 scheduled, and how long was downtime?
Epic’s original Chapter 2 Remix announcement described a November 12 start for v32.10 and the Reload map rotation. In an update dated November 8, Epic revised the plan: “v32.10 and Reload Map Rotation is now planned to go live on November 13.” The date is a revised plan, not a precise maintenance schedule.
The announcement does not give a v32.10 downtime start time or duration. It mentions downtime in connection with an expanded claim window for the Juice WRLD Outfit, but that does not establish how long v32.10 maintenance would last. See Epic’s Chapter 2 Remix announcement and dated updates.
Where is Ice Spice in Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix?
Epic announced Ice Spice as the Week 3 boss at Ice Isle, the renamed Shark Island, beginning November 14, 2024. The location was described as a neon-lit, Y2K-styled abandoned shopping mall. Ice Spice’s two outfits were also announced for the Item Shop starting in Week 3; that announcement does not establish current shop availability.

What does Ice Spice drop?
Epic said defeating Ice Spice would add her to the player’s team and award Ice Spice’s Grappler and Ice Spice’s Rifle Mythics. The announcement gives those rewards but does not provide boss tactics or difficulty details.
Did Kicks release in v32.10?
No. Epic’s initial announcement had planned Kicks for the Remix Pass and Item Shop on November 12, with Nike, Jordan and Fortnite-original designs. On November 12, Epic corrected the plan: “Kicks are no longer releasing in v32.10.” Players could still unlock AJ1 Black Toe Reimagined through the Remix Pass, but could not equip it until a new release date. Epic’s update did not state that date.
Epic initially projected compatibility with over 500 popular Outfits, with more than 95% of Outfits targeted for compatibility by spring. Those were forward-looking figures in the announcement, not independently verified results. AJ1 Black Toe Reimagined is an in-game cosmetic; it should not be confused with a physical Air Jordan sneaker.

What else was in the early v32.10 notes?
Remix Pass
Epic announced more than 70 rewards across four weeks. The pass was listed at 950 V-Bucks or as included with Fortnite Crew, with up to 1,000 V-Bucks earnable through progression. Epic said XP from Battle Royale, creator-made islands, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing and Fortnite Festival counted toward progress. These are historical 2024 announcement terms, not current purchase terms.
Reload map rotation
Reload’s Oasis map and Solo Ranked and Unranked modes were announced for November 2. Epic initially said Oasis and the original Reload Venture map would alternate every 30 minutes starting November 12 alongside v32.10. The November 8 update moved the planned v32.10 and rotation date to November 13; the 30-minute interval was Epic’s announced rotation plan.

- November 1, 2024: Epic announced Chapter 2 Remix, with weekly location and loot changes. Its lineup included Snoop Dogg at The Doggpound, Eminem at the Grotto, Ice Spice at Shark Island/Ice Isle, and a season finale tribute to Juice WRLD.
- November 8, 2024: Epic revised the planned v32.10 release and Reload map rotation date to November 13.
- November 12, 2024: Epic said Kicks would no longer release in v32.10 and did not provide a replacement date.
