If you mean the Chapter 2 Season 8 issue reported on September 13, 2021, the workaround was to open the Battle Pass screen and use its Buy Levels menu to purchase 25 levels at the same discount. The report attributed that guidance to Fortnite Status, but the available record does not confirm when—or whether—a permanent fix followed. NerdPool’s September 13, 2021 report
First, identify which Season 8 you mean
“Season 8” can refer to two different Fortnite seasons. Epic’s official material from 2019 concerns Chapter 1 Season 8; the reported 25-level purchase problem dates to Chapter 2 Season 8 in September 2021. The 2019 sources do not document the 2021 purchase issue.

For Chapter 1 Season 8, Epic said the Battle Bundle would be discounted for players who earned that season’s Battle Pass through the Overtime Challenges. Its v8.00 notes described a 100-level pass with more than 100 rewards, available in-game for 950 V-Bucks. Those were 2019 terms, not the price or eligibility for the 2021 offer. What to do if the 25-level offer is missing
In the September 2021 report, the quoted Fortnite Status workaround was to buy the 25 levels through the Battle Pass screen’s Buy Levels menu, at the same discount as the unavailable offer. This describes the reported Chapter 2 Season 8 workaround; the report does not establish that the same discounted option is available now.

- Open Fortnite and go to the Battle Pass screen.
- Open Buy Levels.
- Look for the 25-level purchase and check the displayed price before confirming.
The report does not establish the 2021 price or the exact platforms affected. It also says Epic was working on the issue, but the available material contains no dated confirmation that a permanent fix shipped. NerdPool’s September 13, 2021 report
How the workaround differs from Epic’s current bundle guidance
Epic’s current support page, accessed October 8, 2026, describes a Battle Pass Reward Bundle. These terms are current-page guidance and should not be read as the offer terms during Chapter 2 Season 8.

That is a different problem from an offer not appearing. Epic’s support guidance for missing Battle Pass tiers is to verify the game is signed into the Epic account used for the purchase, then restart Fortnite. These steps are for rewards missing after purchase; they do not establish a fix for an unavailable offer.
