To get one, defeat its associated Olympian boss: Ares, Hades, Cerberus, or Zeus. Each medallion provided a different combat or movement benefit, but carrying any of them revealed your location on the map.
This is a historical guide to that season, not a guide to the current Fortnite season. Epic said the Chapter 5 Season 2 Battle Pass was available to progress until May 24, 2024, at 2 AM ET. Read Epic’s Chapter 5 Season 2 announcement.
All four Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 medallions
| Medallion | Boss and location | Benefit |
|---|---|---|
| Aspect of Combat | Ares — Brawler’s Battleground, south of Mount Olympus | Increases ranged-weapon damage |
| Aspect of Siphon | Hades — The Underworld | Heals you after enemy eliminations |
| Aspect of Agility | Cerberus — Grim Gate | Provides Underworld Dash charges that recharge over time |
| Aspect of Speed | Zeus — Mount Olympus | Lets you run faster and jump higher while sprinting |
Epic Games’ season announcement identifies the bosses’ locations; contemporary medallion guides describe the rewards and their effects. GameSpot’s medallion guide and Prima Games’ guide cover the four Aspects.
How to get each medallion
- Go to the location associated with the medallion you want: Brawler’s Battleground for Ares, The Underworld for Hades, Grim Gate for Cerberus, or Mount Olympus for Zeus.
- Defeat that location’s boss to obtain the matching medallion.
- Decide whether to carry it, knowing that doing so makes your location visible on the map.
These boss locations and rewards are season-specific. A boss fight may be contested by other players; the guides establish the reward but do not guarantee a safe or uncontested encounter. Epic described Grim Gate as a route into The Underworld where Cerberus awaits, and Brawler’s Battleground as Ares’s challenge arena south of Mount Olympus.

What carrying a medallion means
Every medallion revealed its carrier’s location on the map. That visibility could help opponents track you, making the benefit a trade-off rather than a free advantage. If a carrier was eliminated, the medallion dropped and another player could pick it up.

The right choice depended on the benefit you wanted: Aspect of Combat for ranged damage, Aspect of Siphon for healing after eliminations, Aspect of Agility for recharging dash charges, or Aspect of Speed for faster sprinting and higher jumps while sprinting. The available guides do not establish exact effect values or enough numerical data to rank them by strength, so any ranking would be speculative.
