What the island’s setting was like
Epic presented the island as a place shaped by supernatural forces and cherry blossoms. The Fortnite Team wrote: “Welcome to the Chapter 6 map, where cherry blossoms fall on soil long-protected by spiritual forces and timeworn magic.” The official announcement groups its descriptions around traditional sites, modern scenery, and supernatural or natural landmarks.

Traditional and ancient sites
Warrior’s Watch, Flooded Frogs and Shogun’s Solitude evoke the island’s older architectural and cultural setting. Epic describes Shogun’s Solitude as a mountain peak where players can test themselves against foes.
Modern scenery
Seaport City is a dense commercial district. The Shining Span is a bridge connecting it to nearby villages, including Canyon Crossing.
Supernatural and natural landmarks
Magic Mosses features obelisks and underground treasures, while Nightshift Forest is described as a place where the sun does not shine. The Great Turtle, another landmark highlighted by Epic, watches over the island while searching for its lost partner.
Where to drop: compare by setting, not ranking
If you are choosing a landing area from the historical map, the sources support comparing places by their setting—not by a proven “best” drop spot. Epic and GameSpot do not establish loot rankings, win rates or player-preference statistics.

Epic’s December 1, 2024 announcement introduced Chapter 6 Season 1: 鬼 HUNTERS (Demon Hunters) and said the season was scheduled to end February 21 at 2 AM ET. The map and locations above belong to that season. The cited announcement and launch guide do not establish which map is live in Fortnite in 2026.
