Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 introduced a new island inspired by Japanese culture and entertainment, four movement additions, new vehicles, and a seasonal Battle Pass. This is a historical overview of the season—not a complete patch-notes changelog or a guide to what is available in Fortnite now.
What changed in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1?
Epic Games presented Chapter 6 Season 1 as a new setting for Fortnite Battle Royale, with a new island and content drawing on Japanese culture and entertainment. The announcement also highlighted new vehicles and expanded movement options. It describes the season’s launch content, rather than documenting every change in a versioned update log. What was the new Chapter 6 map?
The season launched with a new island, presented as the setting for its Japanese-inspired theme. Epic’s announcement supports describing it as a new island, but it does not establish a complete list of named locations or every map change. For that reason, this overview does not give a point-of-interest list.
What were Chapter 6’s new movement abilities?
Epic added four named features to Fortnite’s core movement: Ledge Jump, Roll Landing, Wall Kick, and Wall Scramble. The announcement says these applied across Battle Royale, Reload, and creator-made islands. It describes Ledge Jump as letting players jump farther when sprinting close to a ledge; it does not provide detailed button inputs here.

|---|---|
| Ledge Jump | Jumping farther when sprinting close to a ledge, as described by Epic |
| Roll Landing | A landing-related movement feature |
| Wall Kick | A movement feature involving wall contact |
| Wall Scramble | A movement feature involving movement along or over a wall |
The last three descriptions reflect only what their names indicate; Epic’s announcement does not establish their inputs or tactical effects in the material summarized here. Epic’s wording is: “Chapter 6 adds Ledge Jump, Roll Landing, Wall Kick, and Wall Scramble to the core movement of Fortnite!”
Which vehicles were included?
Epic highlighted two vehicles for the season: the Rogue Bike, described as a motorcycle, and the Void Burn, described as a sporty two-door vehicle. These are in-game additions identified in the season announcement.

What was in the Chapter 6 Season 1 Battle Pass?
The season included a Battle Pass, but the cited season overview does not establish its full reward list, current availability, or price. Chapter 6 Season 1 is a past season, so historical pass details should not be treated as an offer available now.
