This is the launch roster—not a complete list of everything available throughout the season, because Epic later said the loot pool changed more frequently as the season progressed.
New weapons at the Chapter 7 Season 1 launch
Epic’s Chapter Seven launch notes introduced these seven weapons for Battle Royale:

How the new weapons are meant to differ
Shotguns: Iron Pump and Twin Hammers
Both are close-range choices, but Epic presents the Iron Pump as a heavy-hitting Pump and the Twin Hammers as dual-wielded shotguns. The launch notes do not establish damage values or a definitive winner between them.
Ranged weapons: Deadeye, Holo Rush, and Vengeful Sniper
The Deadeye Assault Rifle is the middle-to-long-range scoped automatic option. The Holo Rush SMG is scoped and fast for close engagements, while the Vengeful Sniper Rifle is the bolt-action precision choice.

Specialized options: Arc-Lightning Gun and Forsaken Vow Blade
The Arc-Lightning Gun is described as affecting players, vehicles, and builds. The Forsaken Vow Blade combines melee attacks with rapid dashes. Epic’s descriptions establish their intended roles, but do not provide comparable performance statistics.
Unvaulted weapons at launch
Epic’s launch notes identify three returning weapons in the Battle Royale pool:

These are the launch unvaulted weapons, distinct from other returning loot and equipment.
Other returning loot and mobility equipment
The launch notes list Shockwave Grenades and Clinger Grenades, along with returning healing items: Chug Jugs, Shield Kegs, Med Kits, Bandages, Shield Potions, and Mini Shield Potions. Epic also says the All Terrain Kart returned.

The Wingsuit was featured as a mobility item, not a weapon. Shield Bubble Jrs and Port-a-Bunkers were listed as Zero Build-only equipment; they should not be counted among the unvaulted weapons.
Weapon handling changes
Epic said the new weapons have more responsive handling, layered recoil, and smoother transitions when aiming down sights (ADS). It also said reload progress is retained when a player swaps weapons or is interrupted during a reload.

Epic Developer Community’s v39.00 Fortnite Ecosystem Updates and Release Notes describes related weapon improvements in Creative and UEFN terminology, including Aimpoint Recoil and Checkpoint Reload. That document also lists aiming down sights while reloading or in the air and haptic feedback during reload. Those Creative/UEFN feature descriptions should not be assumed to describe Battle Royale behavior identically.

In a later seasonal balance post, Epic said it had updated the Battle Royale loot pool more often that season than in previous seasons, adding unvaults as milestones were reached. Its later snapshot described four active shotguns: Chaos Reloaders, Iron Pumps, Super Shredders, and Dual Hammers, with different roles for each. That snapshot confirms the pool changed; it does not establish the exact introduction date or continuous availability of every weapon.

For any later point in the season, use the dated update notes for the relevant version rather than treating the launch roster as a season-long inventory. Epic’s later discussion is available in Inside Seasonal Balance: How We’re Tuning the Loot Pool.
