Yes—Marty McFly was in the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1 Battle Pass. The character was first reported as a pre-launch leak on November 20, 2025; Epic confirmed his inclusion in the Chapter Seven: Pacific Break Battle Pass in its November 29 launch notes. The Pass has since ended and cannot be purchased or progressed.

Is Marty McFly in the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1 Battle Pass?

Yes. Epic’s November 29, 2025 Chapter Seven: Pacific Break v39.00 update notes said players could “rep the future as Marty McFly” in the new Battle Pass. That official launch announcement confirmed the central claim.

What did the pre-launch leak say?

On November 20, 2025, Josh Challies reported for Insider Gaming that leakers, including ShiinaBR, expected Marty McFly to appear in the Pass. The report described a look inspired by the original films, including high-top trainers, sunglasses and an orange gilet. Those style details were part of the leak report, not separately confirmed by Epic in the cited launch notes.

The chronology matters: the November 20 story was a report about what leakers expected, not an official announcement. Epic confirmed Marty’s Pass inclusion nine days later.

Who else was in the Chapter 7 Season 1 Battle Pass?

Epic’s v39.00 notes also named The Bride among the Pass characters, alongside Fortnite-original characters. In a separate November 30 announcement, Epic said The Bride was inspired by Kill Bill and announced the Fortnite premiere of The Lost Chapter: Yuki’s Revenge. That post provides context for another movie-related addition to the season; it is not separate confirmation of Marty McFly.

The same announcement includes a statement attributed to Quentin Tarantino: “Bringing this into Fortnite sounded cool and felt like a wonderful fit for the game world and the characters.” The comment concerns bringing the Kill Bill-related experience into Fortnite, not the Back to the Future collaboration. Read Epic’s announcement about The Bride and Yuki’s Revenge.

Can you still buy the Chapter 7 Season 1 Battle Pass?

No. According to Epic Games Support’s Battle Pass guidance, Passes for seasons that have ended cannot be purchased or progressed.

Epic says some items from past Passes might be offered in the Item Shop later, but it does not guarantee that any particular item will return. That leaves a possible future route for individual items, not a promise that Marty McFly will become available again.

Is Chapter 7 Season 1 still the current Fortnite season?

No. Chapter 7 Season 1, titled Pacific Break, is a past season. By August 20, 2026, Epic had announced Chapter 7 Season 4: Override, with Sonic the Hedgehog as that season’s Battle Pass headliner. Epic’s news index also lists later 2026 announcements. References to Pacific Break as “coming soon” belong to the pre-launch period, not the current season status.
