Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1, Pacific Break, introduced the Golden Coast island. This is a historical launch guide: Epic’s current Battle Royale page lists Chapter 7 Season 4: Override, so the map and items below are not the live island or a definitive record of the season’s final loot pool.
What was the Chapter 7 Season 1 map?
The new island was called the Golden Coast. Epic’s v39.00 update notes, published Nov. 29, 2025, named six locations: Battlewood Boulevard, Sandy Strip, Wonkeeland, Humble Hills, Bumpy Bay, and Classified Canyon.
A launch map guide from Meristation counted 13 major locations and published a map view. Its names are localized Spanish labels, not official English spellings; where Epic’s notes provide an English name, use that spelling. The guide’s list was Avenida Asombrosa, Bahía Buenaventura, Boulevard Batalla, Campo Costero, Cañón Confidencial, Costa Cafetera, Estudios Enigmáticos, Industrias Innobucle, Mansiones Modestas, Palmeras Pintorescas, Sociedad Surfista, Villa Bosque, and Wonkeelandia. See Meristation’s launch map guide.
What the island’s locations were themed around
Meristation characterized the setting as inspired by the U.S. Pacific coast, with Hollywood-style studios and a boulevard, neon-lit luxury hotels suggestive of Las Vegas, and a desert military installation reminiscent of Area 51. These are setting comparisons, not official descriptions of every POI.

Was there a best place to land?
The map guide supports comparing locations by setting—such as boulevard, studios, coast, or desert installation—but does not provide loot-quality rankings, safety measurements, or win-rate data. Choose a drop based on the kind of area and rotation you prefer rather than treating any POI as a statistically proven best landing spot.
