Their reported search areas are listed below, but treat them as places to check—not guaranteed spawns. This is historical Season 2 information, not a guide to the current map: Chapter 7 Season 4 and a new map were reported live on August 20, 2026.
Chapter 7 Season 2 boss locations
The locations below are reported by third-party Season 2 guides. The guides do not provide an official Epic Games spawn table, and they differ on how consistently some bosses appear.
| Boss | Reported search area | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Dark Voyager Echo | Dark Dominion or Battlewood Boulevard | PC Gamer calls Dark Dominion his home POI, but says his appearance is not guaranteed. Insider Gaming recommends searching Dark Dominion and nearby areas. PC Gamer; Insider Gaming |
| The Ice King | Frigid Fortress, Dark Dominion, or Fore Fields; PC Gamer also names Frigid Forest | Guides give differing location names and candidate areas, so check more than one reported area rather than assuming a single fixed POI. PC Gamer; Beebom |
| Dread Punisher Squibbly | Squibbly Shores | Games.gg and Beebom describe this as a consistent or fixed location; that is guide reporting, not an official spawn guarantee. Games.gg; Beebom |
| Elite Zadie | Sus Studios, northwest of Frigid Fortress, or northeast of Squibbly Shores | These are reported search areas; her appearance is not established as guaranteed at any one of them. Beebom |
How to tell whether a boss is nearby
Look for the skull-and-crossbones boss marker on the map. PC Gamer says boss spawns are not set and recommends using the marker to locate them; Insider Gaming says Dark Voyager Echo’s minimap marker may appear only when you are close. If you do not see a marker immediately, search the reported area and nearby locations rather than treating its absence as proof the boss is not there. PC Gamer; Insider Gaming
Why location reports differ
Season 2 guides do not agree completely on spawn behavior. PC Gamer says bosses have no set spawns, while Games.gg and Beebom describe Squibbly as consistently or fixed at Squibbly Shores. The Ice King’s location names also differ: PC Gamer says “Frigid Forest,” while Beebom lists “Frigid Fortress.” These differences make reported areas more useful as a search route than as a promise of an exact spawn.
