Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2, “Showdown,” is over: contemporary coverage said it was scheduled to run from March 19 to June 6, 2026. Its reported roadmap had three acts and an epilogue, but Act 3 was marked “[REDACTED]” rather than explained. The original Fortnite post was not directly available in the cited coverage, so the roadmap details below are attributed to the outlets that reported them.
What were the reported acts in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2?
Gaming publications described the “Showdown” roadmap as a four-part sequence: three acts followed by a season-ending epilogue.
| Segment | Reported name or status | What coverage said |
|---|---|---|
| Act 1 | “Rise of the King” — completed | The opening rivalry phase concluded after both factions completed their milestone goals, according to TechWiser and EGW.News. |
| Act 2 | “The Elites” | Reportedly centered on Elite Stronghold, a new Fortnite Reload map; access dates are detailed below. (EGW.News) |
| Act 3 | “[REDACTED]” | The reported roadmap withheld its title and details; the cited coverage does not establish what the act involved. (TechWiser; Beebom) |
| Epilogue | Season-ending live event | Coverage described a live event as the epilogue and reported June 6, 2026, as the planned season conclusion. (TechWiser) |
The storyline coverage connected the season’s conflict with The Foundation and the Ice King, and also described Dark Voyager as important to the story. These are reported storyline details, not a full account of how the season’s events played out.
What was Act 2: “The Elites”?
Act 2 was reported to introduce Elite Stronghold, a new map for Fortnite Reload. EGW.News reported early access for Elite-rank players on April 18, 2026, followed by access for all players on April 20, 2026. Both dates have passed; they are historical access dates, not an upcoming release window.

What did “[REDACTED]” mean for Act 3?
In the reported roadmap, “[REDACTED]” meant that Act 3’s name and subject were withheld. It does not establish that the act had any particular theme or crossover. Beebom discussed an Overwatch connection as speculation, not as a confirmed roadmap item. The reporting cited here does not confirm that Tracer or other Overwatch content was scheduled or released as part of Act 3.

TechWiser reported that Chapter 7 Season 2 was scheduled to conclude on June 6, 2026, with a live event as its epilogue. That date is in the past. AS.com/Meristation also discussed the finale and transition to the following season, but the cited reporting does not provide a verified, detailed recap of what ultimately happened during the live event. The schedule should not be treated as confirmation that every announced plan occurred exactly as described.
Quick Recap

- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.
