What was the season’s Foundation-versus-Ice-King premise?
Epic framed Showdown as a team rivalry. Players chose Team Foundation or Team Ice King and competed to help their side win. The official trailer description said the winning team would decide which final reward all Battle Pass owners unlocked: Frost-Ready Foundation or Exalted Frost Ice King. That is Epic’s description of the intended season reward mechanic.

The announcement listed new locations, weapons, and movement items, and said an Arenas mode was planned for April 9, 2026. These are season-announcement details, not claims that every feature appears in the Battle Pass trailer.
