The benefit is Fortnite Crew—not just a standalone Battle Pass—and eligible Ultimate members can access premium rewards for Fortnite’s current Battle Pass, OG Pass, LEGO Pass and Music Pass, along with monthly V-Bucks and other benefits. You must sign in through an eligible Xbox route each month to receive them.
What Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes
Xbox’s November 14, 2025 announcement described Fortnite Crew as an Ultimate benefit beginning November 18. Xbox confirmed the launch on that date. The current Xbox plan-comparison page continues to list access to the current Battle Pass, OG Pass, LEGO Pass, Music Pass, monthly V-Bucks and Rocket Pass Premium in Rocket League. Availability and features can vary by region, plan and platform.
| Benefit | What it means |
|---|---|
| Fortnite Crew Pack | An Outfit and matching accessory, as described in Xbox’s November 14, 2025 announcement. |
| Fortnite pass rewards | Premium reward access for the current Battle Pass, OG Pass, LEGO Pass and Music Pass. |
| V-Bucks | Xbox’s November 14, 2025 announcement specified 1,000 V-Bucks each month. The current plan-comparison text lists monthly V-Bucks but does not state the quantity. |
| Rocket Pass Premium | Included in Rocket League. Xbox described this as a bonus that could change or be discontinued. |
These benefits are part of Fortnite Crew. The $11.99 monthly value mentioned in Xbox’s 2025 announcement was the stated value at that time, not a verified current price comparison. The current plan-comparison page does not provide a price in its listed benefit text.
How to claim the benefits each month
- Link your Xbox account to your Epic Games account, and make sure your Game Pass Ultimate subscription is active.
- Sign in to Fortnite at least once each month using an Xbox console, Xbox on PC, Xbox Cloud Gaming or a supported gaming handheld.
- If you use Game Pass Ultimate on PC, install Fortnite through the Xbox app for PC before signing in to trigger redemption.
These are Epic’s stated first checks if Crew benefits do not appear. The guidance does not promise that benefits will show immediately after signing in.

What happens to access when Ultimate or Crew ends?
Epic says members can claim premium pass rewards as they progress while their Crew subscription is active. Because Epic’s guidance makes an active subscription a condition of claiming those premium rewards, do not assume that access to the premium tracks continues after the subscription ends. Epic also notes that monthly Crew content is subject to change.
Existing Crew subscribers and recent Battle Pass purchases
Epic says eligible Game Pass Ultimate members receive Crew rewards without separately buying a Crew subscription. Its stated refund rule covers a Battle Pass purchased within 14 days of receiving Fortnite Crew as an Ultimate perk. The cited guidance does not establish the refund outcome for purchases outside that window or how every existing Crew subscription is handled across billing platforms. For questions about a separate subscription’s charges, contact the platform that billed it.
