Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsIf you’re a Fortnite Crew subscriber not getting the latest Battle Pass, first check whether Crew is active and whether the issue is a missing pass, a locked premium track, or rewards you still need to claim. Epic says Crew includes the current Battle Royale Battle Pass and future seasons’ passes while the subscription remains active. Cancellation, a failed payment, joining Crew after buying the pass, or Game Pass Ultimate account and sign-in requirements can change what you’re entitled to.
First, identify what is missing
“Not getting the Battle Pass” can mean three different things. The distinction matters because pass access, premium rewards, and reward claiming have separate rules.

- The pass is absent: Check Crew’s subscription status, billing, and—if you receive Crew through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate—account linking and sign-in requirements.
- The pass appears but its premium track is locked: Check whether Crew is active, whether you cancelled, and whether a pass purchase was refunded after you joined Crew.
- Rewards are unlocked but not in your locker: Check the pass’s claim screen. Epic says you can claim unlocked rewards in any order or enable auto-claim; progression alone does not grant premium rewards without a purchase or Crew entitlement. See Epic’s explanation of Battle Pass progression.
Check Crew’s status and who bills you
Epic’s Crew benefits page says an active subscription includes the current Battle Royale Battle Pass and future seasons’ passes. The page also lists the OG, LEGO, and Music passes; some bonus benefits can vary by platform and may change. Check the current Crew benefits and inclusions.
Confirm the subscription is active for the period in question and identify the provider that bills it. If a renewal failed, Epic says Crew can go on payment hold, suspending benefits including Battle Pass access. Resolve the payment issue with the billing provider: Epic, PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo, depending on where you subscribed.

For an Epic-billed subscription, follow Epic’s payment-hold guidance. Epic advises allowing 24–48 hours after resubscribing for processing. That window applies to Epic-billed Crew and is not a general guarantee for subscriptions billed elsewhere.
If you cancelled Crew, check the cancellation date and your history
For subscribers covered by the policy effective December 1, 2024, premium Battle Pass rewards remain claimable only while Crew is active, through the end of the current billing period after cancellation. The policy has an exception for qualifying subscribers who were already members before that date and did not later cancel and resubscribe under the newer terms. Compare your subscription history and billing-period end with Epic’s cancellation and Battle Pass rules.

If you bought the pass before joining Crew, check the 14-day window
Epic says it refunds 800 V-Bucks for a pass purchase when you start Crew within 14 days of buying an active pass. If the refund is issued, premium rewards require active Crew. If you started Crew more than 14 days after buying the pass, Epic says the purchase is not refunded and the pass’s premium rewards do not become subscription-gated. Check your purchase and subscription dates against Epic’s pass refund and timing guidance.
If Crew comes through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate
Epic’s Xbox troubleshooting guidance sets out separate requirements for receiving the Crew perk. Check them in this order:
Rank #3
- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.
- Redemption: Online
- Confirm the Xbox account is linked to the Epic account you use for Fortnite.
- Confirm the Game Pass Ultimate subscription and Crew eligibility are active. Epic’s instruction is: “If your subscription is not active, contact Xbox Support.”
- Sign in to Fortnite at least once per month through a supported Xbox route.
- If you play on PC, install Fortnite through the Xbox app for PC before signing in to trigger redemption.
Follow Epic’s Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Crew troubleshooting steps if any of these checks fail. Epic says Fortnite Crew became a monthly Game Pass Ultimate perk on November 18, 2025; the perk’s requirements are distinct from a Crew subscription billed directly by Epic or a console platform.

If the subscription is active, billing is resolved, the relevant cancellation and purchase rules do not explain the issue, and any Game Pass requirements are met, the official guidance cannot establish the entitlement state of an individual account. Contact the provider that controls the subscription and Epic Support with the account you use for Fortnite, subscription and billing dates, purchase or refund records, and a description of whether the pass is absent, its premium track is locked, or rewards are unclaimed.
