The reported free Yeat reward in Fortnite is the HeliMAn Jam Track. Community guides say you earn it by accepting Yeat’s Unreleased Music quest, collecting five bells near his NPC, and returning the bells. Epic’s documented part begins after that: equip the track from the Locker, then use it in Festival Main Stage or Festival Jam Stage. The quest location and reward are community-reported rather than confirmed in Epic’s support documentation, so the island location and availability can change.
What a Jam Track is in Fortnite
A Jam Track is a music item managed through Fortnite’s Locker. It is not limited to a single Festival screen: an equipped track can be selected for Festival play, used as Lobby Music, and assigned to certain Battle Royale music moments. In Festival, the same song can behave differently depending on the mode. Main Stage turns it into a rhythm-game performance with note prompts and instrument parts, while Jam Stage uses loop-based improvisation.

That distinction matters for the Yeat reward. Receiving HeliMAn does not automatically start a performance or place the song in a Festival setlist. You first have to equip it, and then choose the mode and part you want to play.
How the reported Yeat reward quest works
The following route is reported by current community coverage for the island shown in that coverage. Epic’s support pages explain how to use Jam Tracks but do not independently document this NPC quest, so treat the reward as a reported route rather than a guaranteed, permanently fixed event.

- Travel to the Power Pylon north of Reality’s Reign. Community guides identify that area as Yeat’s NPC location on the current island. Named locations and NPC placements can change when the island is updated.
- Talk to Yeat and accept the Unreleased Music quest. Make sure the quest is accepted before collecting items; otherwise the bells may not count toward the objective.
- Collect five bells in the nearby area. Search around the NPC’s local area and watch the quest tracker for progress. The reported objective is five bells, not a general scavenger hunt across the whole island.
- Return to Yeat after the fifth bell. The community-reported reward is the HeliMAn Jam Track. Check the Locker after turning in the objective rather than assuming the song has been added to a Festival setlist automatically.
If Yeat, the Power Pylon, the quest name, or the bells do not appear in your match, do not infer that the track has been removed solely from one failed attempt. The route is tied to a particular island state and may rotate or be changed by an update. Recheck the current island, confirm that the quest was accepted, and look in the Locker before treating the reward as unavailable.
Equip HeliMAn in the Locker
Epic says Jam Tracks are equipped through the Locker’s Music and Lobby areas. Equip the song before entering Festival so it is available to select when you build a setlist or open the Jam controls.

- From the Fortnite lobby, open Locker.
- Open the Music or Jam Tracks section. The exact presentation can depend on the current Locker layout.
- Select HeliMAn.
- Choose Equip and leave the Locker after the selection is saved.
Equipping changes the item’s active status; it does not purchase a shop item or create a separate copy. If HeliMAn is not listed, first verify that the quest turn-in completed, then close and reopen the Locker and check the Jam Tracks category rather than only the general Lobby Music tile.

Main Stage is Fortnite Festival’s performance mode. Parties can contain up to four players, and a setlist can contain up to four Jam Tracks. You select the song and an instrument part in the backstage setlist screen, ready up, and then perform by following the scrolling note prompts.

- Select Festival Main Stage from the Fortnite experience selection.
- At the backstage setlist screen, add the equipped Yeat track, HeliMAn, to the setlist.
- Choose an available part: Lead, Drum, Vocals, or Bass.
- If a guitar controller is connected, the game can also show Pro Lead and Pro Bass. Without that controller, choose one of the standard parts.
- Ready up. During the song, match your input to the note prompts to perform the selected part.
The four-player and four-song limits are Main Stage rules, not a statement that HeliMAn can only be used once or by one person. A track can be placed in a setlist whenever it is equipped and available to the account.
Choosing a Main Stage part
| Part | What you do | Controller requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Lead | Play the lead chart shown by the note prompts. | Standard controls; Pro Lead is the guitar-controller option. |
| Drum | Follow the drum note prompts. | Standard controls. |
| Vocals | Follow the vocal chart. | Standard controls. |
| Bass | Follow the bass note prompts. | Standard controls; Pro Bass is the guitar-controller option. |
The exact chart difficulty and input prompts are part of the Festival performance interface. The important setup decision is the part you select before readying up; changing from Lead to Drum, Vocals, or Bass requires selecting that part in the setlist screen.

Use HeliMAn in Festival Jam Stage
Jam Stage is designed for loops rather than a fixed, scored Main Stage chart. After entering the mode with HeliMAn equipped, open the Emote menu and use the Jam Tracks or Jam Loops controls to choose a musical part.
- Select Festival Jam Stage.
- Open the Emote menu once you are in the stage.
- Choose the Jam Tracks/Jam Loops controls.
- Select a part: Lead, Drum, Vox, or Bass.
- Start the loop and adjust the available musical settings while playing.
Up to four players can combine loops, allowing each player to contribute a different part. Jam Stage also lets players adjust tempo, key, and major/minor settings, so the result can be changed while the group plays rather than being locked to the original arrangement.

Other places an equipped Jam Track can play
Epic describes Jam Tracks as Locker music items with uses outside Festival stages. Once HeliMAn is equipped, it can be selected as Lobby Music. In Battle Royale, the equipped track can be used for Intro Music when you jump from the Battle Bus and for Celebration Music after a Victory Royale. These uses do not replace the Locker equip step; the track must be equipped first.
Which Yeat tracks are currently reported
Community coverage of the current Yeat set lists three shop Jam Tracks: If We Being Rëal, Gët Busy, and Monëy so big. That coverage identifies HeliMAn as the free reward tied to the five-bell NPC quest. Shop inventory and prices can rotate, so a song appearing in one item-shop report does not guarantee that it is available in your shop today. Check the live in-game Item Shop for current availability.
The shop songs and the quest reward are separate acquisition routes. Seeing another Yeat song in the shop does not prove that the Unreleased Music quest is active, and completing the quest does not grant every Yeat track listed in the shop.

- The quest was never accepted: Return to Yeat and confirm that Unreleased Music is active before collecting bells.
- Fewer than five bells were collected: Revisit the nearby area and use the quest tracker to verify the count reached five.
- The turn-in did not happen: Speak to Yeat again after the fifth bell; the reported reward is associated with returning the bells.
- You are checking the wrong Locker category: Look under Music or Jam Tracks, not only the general Lobby presentation.
- The island has changed: The Power Pylon location and NPC route are reported for a current island state. An island update can move or remove the encounter.
- You are expecting a setlist entry automatically: Even an owned track must be equipped and then added to the Main Stage setlist.
- You are looking for Pro parts without the required hardware: Epic limits Pro Lead and Pro Bass to sessions with a connected guitar controller. Use the standard Lead or Bass part if no compatible controller is connected.
Do you need a guitar controller?
No guitar controller is required to equip HeliMAn, play its standard Main Stage parts, use it in Jam Stage, or assign it as music in the Lobby and Battle Royale moments described above. A connected guitar controller matters specifically for the Pro Lead and Pro Bass options. If you are considering Festival hardware, verify compatibility with your platform before buying; Epic’s guidance establishes the controller requirement for those Pro parts, not universal compatibility for every guitar model.
A complete start-to-finish checklist
- Find Yeat at the reported Power Pylon location north of Reality’s Reign.
- Accept the Unreleased Music quest.
- Collect all five nearby bells.
- Return to Yeat and check for the reported HeliMAn reward.
- Open Locker, enter Music or Jam Tracks, select HeliMAn, and choose Equip.
- For a charted performance, enter Festival Main Stage, add HeliMAn to the setlist, choose Lead, Drum, Vocals, or Bass, and ready up.
- For loop-based play, enter Festival Jam Stage, open the Emote menu, choose Jam Tracks/Jam Loops, and select Lead, Drum, Vox, or Bass.
- If using Pro Lead or Pro Bass, connect a compatible guitar controller before selecting the part.
What is confirmed and what can change
Epic’s documented behavior is stable at the feature level: Jam Tracks are equipped in the Locker, Main Stage uses setlists and playable parts, Pro Lead and Pro Bass require a guitar controller, and Jam Stage supports loop combinations with tempo, key, and major/minor controls. The Yeat-specific details are less certain. The HeliMAn reward, five-bell objective, and Power Pylon location come from community reporting for the current island rather than an Epic support article covering this quest. Treat those details as time-sensitive and verify what your live game shows after updates.
