There is no confirmed Fortnite Jujutsu Kaisen Wave 2 announcement in the available evidence. The story behind the rumor is a March 2024 report about a possible Jujutsu Kaisen Skin Cup entry spotted in Fortnite’s API—not an Epic Games reveal, confirmed skin lineup, or release date.
What the Wave 2 leak is based on
In March 2024, Hindustan Times reported that leakers had noticed a possible Jujutsu Kaisen Skin Cup in Fortnite’s API for Chapter 5 Season 2. That observation prompted speculation that the anime collaboration might return, but an API reference to a possible cup does not establish that Epic planned or released a second wave of cosmetics.
The report quoted leaker ShiinaBR: “I personally haven’t heard anything about Wave 2 yet, but this finding points to it.” That is a qualified interpretation, not confirmation. It also quoted @LeakySussed cautioning, “Take this with a grain of salt, this could be changed in the upcoming future.” Epic had not officially announced a Jujutsu Kaisen return at the time of the report.
What is confirmed about the first collaboration
Epic’s August 8, 2023 announcement introduced Fortnite’s original Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration. It named four characters: Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and Satoru Gojo. The collaboration also featured quests, rewards, and a Jujutsu Kaisen Cup. Those details document the first collaboration; they do not confirm a second one.

The original Cup was a Duos Zero Build tournament held on August 11, 2023. Its historical eligibility rules included verified two-factor authentication, an Epic account level of at least 15, and Bronze rank or higher in Ranked Zero Build. These were requirements for that past event, not known requirements for any future cup.
Is there a release date, shop window, or confirmed character list?
None is established by the available sources. They do not confirm a Wave 2 release date, Item Shop window, price, or character lineup. A possible cup reference and speculation about a return cannot answer when skins might appear or which characters, if any, would be included.

A February 2025 r/FortniteLeaks discussion uses a Wave 2 headline and talks about alleged character choices. It is community discussion, not an Epic announcement or verification that the 2024 rumor came true. Fans also ask whether the original skins might return alongside a second wave, but those questions do not establish that either event will happen.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to tell confirmation from speculation
- Official confirmation: Look for an announcement or in-game information from Epic or Fortnite. A leak report is not a substitute.
- Attributed leak: Treat a reported API observation as a clue with uncertain meaning, especially when the leaker themselves says they have not heard of Wave 2.
- Community discussion: Posts and comments can show what fans hope to see, but they do not verify a roster, date, or return of earlier skins.
Until Epic confirms a collaboration, any proposed characters, timing, or shop availability should be described as speculation.
