Its main track awarded eight milestone rewards for earning XP in specified experiences while playing in a party with friends. A separate creator-favoriting quest awarded the Rubber Ducky Banner Icon.
When did the Fortnite Party Up Summer Road Trip start and end?
Epic Games announced the event on July 21, 2025. It began July 22 at 9 AM ET and ended August 7 at 2 AM ET. Although new quests appeared only during the first week, players could complete them until the event ended.
These dates are historical: the quests are no longer available through this event. Epic did not give specific later Shop dates for its rewards.
How did the party XP quests work?
New quests appeared daily from July 22 through July 28. They alternated between earning XP in creator-made experiences and earning XP in “By Epic” experiences. Players had to be in a party with friends while earning the XP. Epic’s announcement did not specify individual quest XP thresholds.
Epic defined a “By Epic” experience as one published by Epic; a creator-made experience was one not published by Epic. In Epic’s July 21, 2025 announcement, it explained: “A ‘By Epic’ experience is a Fortnite experience published by Epic, while a ‘creator-made experience’ is a Fortnite experience NOT published by Epic.”

What were all eight quest milestone rewards?
Completing each successive quest milestone unlocked the following reward. The eighth milestone awarded the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Bundle.

Epic said the ZR1 Bundle included Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Wheels and four decals: ZR1 Stripes, Sea Wolf Gray, Fish Farewell, and ZR1 Circuit.
How did the separate creator-favoriting reward work?
Favoriting the creator of an experience—also called an island—awarded the Rubber Ducky Banner Icon. This was a separate special quest, not a ninth XP milestone or part of the eight-reward track.

What was the Rocket League connection?
The Corvette ZR1 car body, decals, and wheels were eligible for cross-game ownership with Rocket League. That made the car items relevant across both games, but Rocket League was not required to complete Fortnite’s party XP quests.

Epic also described separate Rocket League Summer Road Trip challenges that awarded Fortnite items:
- Play a private match with custom mutators to earn Fortnite’s League Balloon Glider.
- Get 15 saves or epic saves in Online Matches to earn Fortnite’s Hairpin Outfit.
Could players get the rewards after the event?
In its 2025 announcement, Epic said the Fortnite reward items would be available in the Shop at a later date, with one exception: the ZR1 Circuit Decal was exclusive to completing Summer Road Trip in Fortnite or Rocket League. Epic did not provide Shop dates or confirm present-day availability, so that announcement should not be taken as a guarantee that any other item is currently in the Shop.
