Fortnite’s September 18, 2025 Battle Royale v37.30 announcement centered on its Power Rangers crossover, including playable Dino Megazord content and Lord Zedd items. Delulu was announced separately on September 19, not as part of that update post. Epic’s relevant official announcements do not confirm a birthday event in v37.30.
What was in Fortnite update v37.30 on September 18?
Epic’s September 18, 2025 Battle Royale announcement featured Power Rangers content. It described a match encounter with Zordon, the Dino Megazord, new Battle Pass unlocks and Lord Zedd-themed shop items.
Dino Megazord encounter
Zordon could appear in a random match. Players who reached him first could summon and pilot the Dino Megazord with teammates to fight the giant Queen. Players on the ground could attack the Megazord; Rita Repulsa’s Boon supplied ammunition over time, while the player who dealt the most damage could receive a medallion that periodically marked nearby players. Epic said the Boon and medallion would not be available in tournaments or Ranked.
Battle Pass rewards
Battle Pass owners could unlock the Dino Megazord outfit after earning 12 account levels. Epic also listed related unlocks, including the Power Sword pickaxe, Tank Cannons back bling and styles. The announcement said the rewards would remain unlockable until the end of Chapter 6 Season 4.

Lord Zedd items and Power Hour
Epic announced a Lord Zedd outfit, Z Staff pickaxe and Lord Zedd’s Magic emote for the Item Shop. It also scheduled a one-hour Lord Zedd Power Hour for September 20, 2025, in Battle Royale and Zero Build, when weapons would become Blade Blasters. That date has passed; it was a limited-time event, not an ongoing feature.
Limited creator music permission
Epic’s post said Support-A-Creator creators could monetize on-demand YouTube videos containing Power Rangers music during September 18–23, 2025, if their accounts were linked. It advised publishing videos as Public or Unlisted and warned that Twitch VODs or clips could still be flagged by third-party copyright detection. This was a dated permission and should not be treated as current authorization.

Was Delulu part of the September 18 update?
No. Epic announced Delulu in a separate post on September 19, 2025, the day after the v37.30 Battle Royale announcement. It was a no-build limited-time mode on the Battle Royale island, with rules built around temporary alliances and proximity voice chat.
How Delulu worked
- 80 players started solo. Players could form temporary teams of up to four.
- Alliances could end. Players could attack former teammates after leaving their team.
- Proximity voice chat was enabled. Players could talk to nearby players, including people outside their squad.
- Voice chat was required to queue. Players had to set voice chat to “Everybody.” Xbox players were instructed to switch from platform voice chat to Fortnite voice chat.
Epic first scheduled Delulu for September 19–22 and September 26–29, 2025. In an update on September 25, Epic said matches in the second window would end when four players remained. A Victory Royale before that window ended unlocked the Crashbrella; watching a Fortnite-category Twitch channel for one cumulative hour before the stated deadline unlocked the Hiccups Emote. These windows and rewards are historical, not current availability.

Did v37.30 include a birthday event?
The birthday-event claim is unverified. The official September 18 v37.30 post and the separate September 19 Delulu post do not describe a birthday event. Epic’s Battle Royale index lists those announcements separately. That does not rule out an unrelated event elsewhere, but the official material cited here does not support calling a birthday event part of v37.30.

The September 18 update announcement, Delulu’s September 19 announcement, its two short availability windows and the creator music permission all refer to 2025. They describe past content and schedules; they do not establish that Delulu, the Power Hour, rewards or music permission are available now.
