Epic announced the season on November 1, 2025. Its announcement does not name the weapons or provide their stats, so a complete weapon list cannot be verified from the official details cited here.
What changed in the Fortnite Simpsons season?
Epic described the season as an 80-player Battle Royale on Springfield Island, with a “fast-paced, back-to-basics” feel. The announcement pitched Springfield as a playful setting for familiar Fortnite combat, with giant donuts falling from the sky and angry clones roaming the streets. Homer Simpson is described as being “in charge.” Epic’s season announcement was published November 1, 2025.
What is the Springfield map?
Springfield Island is the season’s Battle Royale setting. Epic’s announcement establishes the setting and 80-player format, but does not provide a detailed location-by-location map guide or a list of named points of interest. The thematic hazards and characters—falling giant donuts and angry clones—are the specific map details Epic highlighted.
What was in the Springfield Battle Pass?
Epic listed premium Outfit rewards for Homer Simpson, Marge Simpson, Flanders, Blinky Fishstick, and Springfielder Peely. The announcement also introduced Peels as Fortnite’s first Sidekick. Peels was exclusive until additional Sidekicks arrived in the Shop on November 7, 2025. Epic’s announcement does not specify Battle Pass price, tier placement, or the unlock requirements for each listed Outfit.

Which weapons were added?
Epic said Simpsons weapons would be available in Delulu during the season, but did not name them or publish rarity, damage, acquisition, or other weapon statistics in the season announcement. A complete weapon list or balance breakdown therefore cannot be verified from that source.
Epic’s separate v38.00 ecosystem release notes focus on creator and ecosystem features, including Verse Fields in UMG and creator tools; they are not a Battle Royale loot-pool patch note and do not fill in those missing weapon details.

What were the animated shorts and promotions?
Epic announced original animated shorts that would highlight new gameplay. They were listed for Fortnite under Quests > Animated Shorts and were also available on Disney+. The announced schedule was:
| Short | Announced release date |
|---|---|
| Apocalypse D’Oh | November 1, 2025 |
| Sugar High | November 10, 2025 |
| Multiplidiocy | November 17, 2025 |

The season announcement also described two time-limited rewards: a Kang and Kodos Glider offer tied to linking Epic and MyDisney accounts, and The Siiimpsooooons… Wrap for watching 30 cumulative minutes of a Fortnite-category Twitch stream. Epic later extended the glider eligibility deadline to April 29, 2026. Both offer windows had passed by October 8, 2026, so these rewards should not be treated as currently claimable. Epic’s announcement and its offer update contain the terms and dates.
