Recommended Free Tools
Fortnite’s Star Wars crossover now includes outfits, limited-time events, themed islands, LEGO Fortnite content, and creator-made experiences. As of October 8, 2026, the confirmed free reward is the Carbonite Fishstick Backbling for eligible players who link an Epic Games Account and MyDisney Account by October 31, 2026. May’s quests and events were time-limited announcements; their current availability is not confirmed, so check Fortnite before planning around them.
What Star Wars content is in Fortnite?
The collaboration extends beyond Battle Royale outfits. Epic has run limited-time events and a fully Star Wars-themed Battle Royale season, and its 2026 expansion includes creator tools and distinct island experiences. These are different kinds of content: some are official Epic/Lucasfilm experiences, while others are islands created by developers using licensed Star Wars assets.
GALACTIC BATTLE was a past Battle Royale season
Fortnite’s GALACTIC BATTLE season began May 2, 2025, and was described by Epic as its first entirely Star Wars-themed Battle Royale season. Its seasonal features included playable Darth Jar Jar and Emperor Palpatine, piloted X-wings and TIE Fighters, and the Death Star Sabotage live event. Those are historical season features, not a promise that they are available now. Epic’s GALACTIC BATTLE announcement
Three named island games launched in 2026
Epic and StarWars.com announced three Star Wars island experiences in May 2026. Epic’s June 26 update says publishing rights transferred to the respective developers, which now independently publish and operate these games.

A separate Mandalorian and Grogu Watch Party Island on Nevarro was announced for May 19, 2026. It included a Jon Favreau message, a 10-minute film preview ahead of the movie’s May 22 theatrical release, and exploration and combat activities. Spending 20 minutes exploring could unlock the Mandalorian Sanctuary loading screen; a Q&A was also hosted May 26. These are dated event details, not evidence that the island or event is still live. Do not confuse it with the expired Stormtrooper offer
The First Order Stormtrooper Outfit was a separate 2025 promotion tied to eligible Epic and MyDisney account linking for the GALACTIC BATTLE season. The offer was extended through October 31, 2025, so it had expired by October 8, 2026. It included Fortnite and LEGO styles; it is not the 2026 Carbonite Fishstick reward. Are the Star Wars quests still available?
The official StarWars.com announcement confirms that Star Wars quests rolled out weekly across Fortnite islands through May 2026 and that completing them unlocked themed rewards. It does not say that the quests remain active in October. Check the current in-game quests and island listings; do not assume that a May reward or objective can still be claimed. StarWars.com’s 2026 announcement
Can players create their own Star Wars islands?
Yes. Epic’s developer documentation describes official Star Wars templates and assets for UEFN and Fortnite Creative, including characters, weapons, devices, vehicles, audio, and environments. This creator toolkit is distinct from the three named games announced by Epic and StarWars.com: independent creators can make their own islands under the applicable terms.
Publishing requires joining the Fortnite Developer Program, opting into the additional Star Wars brand terms, and following the brand rules and age-appropriate island-rating requirements. Epic’s Star Wars creator documentation
