What did the v37.10 memory rule mean for island creators?
Epic’s historical v37.10 notes stated: “As of v37.10, islands exceeding the 100,000-unit memory limit cannot be published or updated.” Under that rule, creators submitting a new island version had to bring memory use below 100,000 units. This reflects the policy described in the 2025 release notes, not confirmation of Epic’s current policy.
Epic connected the enforcement to v37.00’s move to cook-time memory calculation. It also warned that islands already published above the limit could cause performance issues on low-end devices, and that severe outliers might be removed. Creators affected by the rule needed to reduce memory use before publishing or updating.

What was specific to Ballistic?
Ballistic received its own content announcement, separate from the ecosystem notes. Epic’s Ballistic v37.10 announcement highlighted a new weapon and gadget, map work, and Champions Road quests.
Weapon, gadget, and maps
- The Veiled Precision SMG was added to Ballistic.
- The Deployable Wall gadget creates cover.
- Hammer Fall received its completed art, while Storm Chaser Cove and K-Zone Commons received layout updates.
Champions Road quests
The announcement listed quests that awarded XP for playing a Ballistic match, dealing 250 damage, landing five headshots, and winning a match. The damage and headshot numbers are quest objectives, not player-performance statistics.

- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. Which fixes did Epic list?
The ecosystem and Ballistic announcements cover different scopes. Epic’s full ecosystem notes list creator and Creative fixes involving debug settings during in-game edit sessions, First Person Camera angles, the Thunderbolt of Zeus, Proximity Chat, Siphon settings, weapon wraps and charge behavior, Typhoon Blade sprint persistence, Grappler and Grapple Glider use-count displays, Overdrive consumable settings, prefab and gallery validation, and Dynamic Team Emotes visibility.
The Ballistic post lists mode-specific fixes for shooting after sliding, outfit visibility, frame-rate drops while planting the Rift Point Device, spectating players defusing it, standing up while planting, rounds failing to end after a planted device and eliminations, and teammate visibility on the minimap after elimination. Consult Epic’s linked announcements for the complete individual fix lists.
