Fortnite Winterfest 2024 began on December 20, 2024, and was scheduled to end on January 7, 2025, at 9 AM ET. The event has ended. Epic Games’ announcement introduced the returning Winterfest Cabin, daily presents, snowy Battle Royale features and Wintervestigation quests.
When did Fortnite Winterfest 2024 begin and end?
Epic Games announced Winterfest as live from December 20, 2024, through January 7, 2025, at 9 AM ET. Those are the event’s historical dates, not a current or upcoming schedule. Epic’s December 20 announcement stated, “Winterfest is live now until January 7, 2025, at 9 AM ET.”
What was in the Winterfest Cabin?
The Winterfest Cabin returned, with one new present available each day until the event ended. Players could open it from the Snowflake tab in the Lobby of any Fortnite experience. Presents contained digital in-game items such as Outfits, Back Blings, Pickaxes and Gliders.
Epic said the Cabin gifts were not exclusive to Winterfest 2024 and might become available in the Shop later. That possibility does not establish that any particular gift is in the Shop now.
