Its quests are no longer live. Players progressed through eight Pirate Codes: completing four quests in a Code earned one Map Piece, and collecting all eight Map Pieces unlocked Jack’s Ship Glider. Epic Games announced the event and reward rules on July 19, 2024.
How Cursed Sails quests and Map Pieces worked
The event divided its quests into eight sequential groups called Pirate Codes. Epic scheduled a new Code every two days from July 19 through August 2, 2024. All remaining event quests stayed available until the event ended on August 6 at 4 AM ET.

- Complete four quests in a Pirate Code to earn that Code’s Map Piece.
- Repeat the process across the eight Pirate Codes to collect all eight Map Pieces.
- Collect all eight Map Pieces to unlock Jack’s Ship Glider.
The available verified quest details do not establish a complete objective-by-objective list for every Code. One documented example, “Listen to Pirate Tales from different Pirates,” required speaking with Elizabeth, Davy Jones, Barbossa, and Jack Sparrow.
Free and Premium Cursed Sails rewards
Completing event quests contributed to progression on the Cursed Sails reward pass. The free track and Premium Reward Track were separate: players did not need Premium access for every event cosmetic.

Epic said the free-track items, Premium Reward Track items, and Jack’s Ship Glider were not exclusive to Cursed Sails and might be purchasable in the Item Shop at a later date. “Might” is not confirmation that any particular reward returned or is currently available; the announcement does not establish present Shop availability.
