Fortnitemares 2025 ran in Fortnite through November 1, 2025; the new Reload map, Nitemare Island, debuted earlier, on October 10. Epic announced the Halloween event on October 9, with Doja Cat, Jason, Wednesday Addams, Scooby-Doo and Ghost Face among its featured characters. The event has ended, so its Twitch Drops window is also closed.
When did Fortnitemares 2025 end?
Epic’s announcement invited players to step into Fortnitemares “now ‘til November 1!” The event was announced October 9, 2025, and November 1 was its stated end date. Epic Games’ Fortnite announcement does not give a specific end time or time zone for the event-wide end date.
What characters were featured?
Epic introduced Doja Cat as “the Mother of Thorns” and named Jason, Wednesday Addams, Scooby-Doo and Ghost Face among the event’s horror-inspired cast. Epic described Doja Cat as twisting Battle Royale into a haunted kingdom and unleashing chaos with the other characters. The announcement does not provide a complete cosmetic release calendar, so it does not establish that every named character was available on the same date.
When did the Nitemare Island Reload map arrive?
Nitemare Island debuted in Fortnite Reload on October 10, 2025, one day after Epic announced Fortnitemares. Epic’s announcement identifies three pictured points of interest on the map:
