Epic’s revised 2026 FNCS calendar added a standalone Solos competition in October, while its separate Fortnite Mobile Series was announced with a $1 million prize pool. FNCS is a Duos circuit; the Mobile Series is a touch-only solo competition. Epic’s official Mobile Series pages disagree on whether its mode is Blitz Royale or Reload Solos, so check the rules for the specific session before entering.
What changed in the 2026 FNCS schedule?
Epic’s May 29, 2026 update moved FNCS Major 2 and made Major 3 the final qualification route to the Global Championship. It also added a separate FNCS Solos tournament for October, after the Championship. Epic’s schedule update described the new Solos event as an online competition for regional Battle Royale crowns.
- Major 2: Finals were set for August 1–2, with the top 25 duos securing places at the Global Championship.
- Major 3: Began August 3 and served as the Last Chance tournament, determining the final 10 duos for Antwerp.
- Global Championship: Scheduled for September 26–27 at Lotto Arena in Antwerp, Belgium. Those dates have passed as of October 8, 2026; the published preview is not a report of results.
The 2026 FNCS season is a Duos competition with three Majors and more than $10 million USD in total prize money. Each Major has Play-In, Heat, Last Chance Qualifier and Finals stages, according to Epic’s FNCS rules.
When are FNCS Solos Heats and Finals?
Epic’s event pages list Heats for October 17–19 and Finals for October 26–28, 2026. As of October 8, both stages are upcoming. The Finals listing describes one three-hour session with up to six matches; the gathered event information does not specify a complete cross-region local-time schedule. How the Mobile Series differs from FNCS
The Fortnite Mobile Series is not an FNCS Major or its October Solos event. Epic announced it as a standalone monthly mobile competition, with opens beginning December 5, 2025 and planned to run through 2026. Its launch announcement called the event solo and touch-only; the later overview describes a touch-only Reload Solos format with 16 players per lobby and no building.
| Competition | Player format and mode | Device or controls | Schedule and prize information |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2026 FNCS | Duos; Battle Royale | Not stated in the cited FNCS rules | Three Majors; more than $10 million USD across the season, per Epic’s 2025 rules. |
| FNCS Solos | Solo regional Battle Royale competition | Not stated on the cited schedule page | Heats October 17–19 and Finals October 26–28, 2026; the cited schedule page does not state a prize total. |
| Fortnite Mobile Series | Solo; launch announcement says Blitz Royale, later overview says Reload Solos | Touchscreen controls on a mobile device | Announced as monthly opens through 2026. Epic’s launch announcement named a $1 million USD pool; its later overview describes the 2026 pool as over $1 million. |
Is the Mobile Series Blitz Royale or Reload Solos?
Epic’s official descriptions conflict. The December 3, 2025 launch announcement calls the event “Blitz Royale,” while the Mobile Series overview, accessed October 8, 2026, says it is touch-only Reload Solos. Do not assume both labels describe the same session or that the launch schedule remains unchanged. Use the current in-game event listing and official rules for the specific competition you plan to enter.

Who can enter the Mobile Series, and what are its prizes?
Epic’s later overview lists these requirements for first-round entrants:
- Gold Rank or higher in Battle Royale Ranked, Zero Build Ranked or Reload Ranked.
- An Epic Account at level 50 or above.
- Age 13 or older.
Those are the published criteria in the overview; verify the live rules for the session, since event details can change. Epic’s launch announcement described an in-person Mobile Series Championship, with all 16 advancing players sharing $200,000 USD. It also said Round 2 Mobile Victory Cash Cups would award $100 USD for each Victory Royale. These are figures and terms from the 2025 announcement, not a guarantee of the current session’s schedule or payout.
