Epic’s September 24, 2026 announcement did not give the cat accessory an exact in-game name. The announced Item Shop window ended October 4, 2026, so its current availability is unconfirmed.
What is the adorable item in Madison Beer’s Fortnite release?
It is a back accessory inspired by Beer’s cat, according to Epic Games Japan’s September 24, 2026 announcement. The announcement does not name the cat or specify the accessory’s exact in-game item name, so it is best identified simply as the cat back accessory.
It is not confirmed to be a Sidekick. Epic describes Sidekicks as customizable companions whose physical traits are permanent and whose names and accessories can be changed; the Madison Beer announcement instead calls the cat a back accessory. A separate Item Shop search result describes The Best Cat as a customizable Sidekick, but it is not identified as part of Beer’s release. The listing details are time-sensitive and lower-confidence because its page could not be opened.
What else was included in the Icon Series release?
Epic listed two outfits, a back accessory inspired by Beer’s runway look, a pickaxe, two emotes, and three Jam Tracks. The announcement did not provide item prices.
