Yes—Forza has acknowledged specific Forza Horizon 5 performance problems in the past, including frame drops and stuttering in particular situations. That record does not establish that a general low-FPS problem is currently affecting all PC players. Treat low frame rate and stutter as symptoms to diagnose, not evidence of one universal bug.
What Forza has acknowledged
The official Forza Horizon 5 release-notes and fixed-issues record includes historical, context-specific performance entries: frame drops associated with the Audi E-Tron, frame drops and stuttering in a Rally Adventure location, and a location-specific frame-rate improvement for Nvidia GPUs. These examples show that particular problems were recognized or addressed; they do not show that a broad PC performance defect remains open today.
The compiled record includes entries through February 2026, but its forum page has changed from its original location. Check current Forza Support information before treating any listed issue as still active or resolved. No representative published statistic establishes what share of PC players currently experience FPS drops.

The Steam listing also specifies CPU, operating-system, and DirectX requirements; consult it for their current values rather than assuming they are unchanged. Compare the machine’s actual CPU, GPU, RAM, OS, and free storage with the listing before considering an upgrade.
Separate sustained low FPS from intermittent stutter
A consistently low frame rate and brief stutters can feel similar, but they are different patterns to report and investigate. The official historical examples are tied to particular cars or locations; the available sources do not establish one cause for every PC player’s report.

- Note whether performance is low continuously or falls in short bursts.
- Record whether the problem follows a specific car, location, or recent game update.
- Include your CPU, GPU, RAM, operating system, resolution, and graphics settings.
- Compare the resolution and settings you use with the performance you are trying to achieve; requirements are a baseline, not an FPS guarantee.
Use the game’s PC graphics options as diagnostic variables
Forza’s PC feature article, published September 30, 2021, describes adjustable graphics settings and support for unlocked frame rates, 4K, HDR, field of view controls, and ultrawide displays. It does not prescribe one settings combination that fixes every performance complaint.
When describing a problem, state the resolution and settings in use so the report is reproducible. Change settings deliberately and observe whether the symptom changes; avoid attributing a result to a particular graphics option without a repeatable comparison on your own system.

Report an unresolved problem through current support
Turn 10’s February 21, 2023 explanation of its reporting process says the team investigates and fixes bugs through series updates, while noting that investigation and fixes take time. The process described there included issue statuses and player-submitted reproduction details. Because the forum infrastructure has changed, use the current Forza Support route rather than relying on an archived hub address.
- Open the current Forza Support site and choose the relevant Forza Horizon 5 support or feedback path.
- Describe the symptom, when it occurs, and whether it is reproducible; identify any car, location, or update association.
- Include your PC specifications, resolution, and graphics settings so the case can be assessed in context.
- Check current support information for a known-issue status or workaround before concluding that the problem is still unacknowledged.
