What time was that in the United States?
Playground Games specified that all US territories unlocked at 12:01 a.m. Eastern time. For players on the Pacific coast, that was 9:00 p.m. on the preceding calendar date: April 24 for Premium Edition, or April 28 for Standard and Deluxe. The US schedule did not mean every time zone in the country independently unlocked at midnight local time.
How did the unlock work in other countries?
Outside the United States, the official schedule described an unlock at 12:01 a.m. local time in the player’s country. The announcement did not publish a complete list of city-by-city conversions, so a US example should not be used to infer another country’s calendar date. For a storefront-specific date, check the PlayStation Store listing for the country or account region you use.
