Forza Horizon 5’s Horizon Track Day update added four 2023 Porsche reward cars, 71 Halo-themed EventLab props, new Halo sky options and music, and the return of the Oval Track. It is a historical update, not a new release: Playground Games announced it on November 1, 2024, and its four-week Festival Playlist ran from November 7 to December 5, 2024. Those reward windows have ended; the original schedule does not establish whether any of the cars can be obtained through another route today.
Which Porsche cars were in the Horizon Track Day update?
Each car was tied to a specific week of the original Festival Playlist. The first three required 20 points in that season; the final car was the reward for completing a named seasonal championship.
| Car | Original Playlist week | Original unlock condition | Dates |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS | Week 1, Summer | Earn 20 points | November 7–14, 2024 |
| 2023 Porsche 911 Rallye | Week 2, Autumn | Earn 20 points | November 14–21, 2024 |
| 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 R | Week 3, Winter | Earn 20 points | November 21–28, 2024 |
| 2023 Porsche 911 Turbo S | Week 4, Spring | Complete the seasonal championship “50 Years of Porsche 911 Turbo” | November 28–December 5, 2024 |
The schedule and unlock requirements are from Playground Games’ November 1, 2024 announcement. They describe how the cars were awarded during that Playlist, not a current acquisition method. The announcement does not establish whether these cars are available through another route now.
What the announcement said about the cars
Playground Games described the GT3 RS as having a 4-liter six-cylinder engine rated at 518 bhp and cited 88 pounds more downforce. Those are claims in the update announcement; they should not be treated as an independently verified specification comparison for the real-world car.

EventLab props and skies
Playground Games added 71 Halo-themed props to EventLab, with some supplied by Halo Studios from Halo Forge. The official announcement called it the game’s largest prop pack at that point. Nineteen props support Snapping, which helps creators align compatible pieces when building custom layouts.

The announcement paired the props section with the line, “Yes, sir. Finishing this build.” It does not identify a speaker.

The original Playlist ended on December 5, 2024. The available update information specifies the historical event requirements but does not establish whether any of the four cars can currently be earned or purchased through another in-game route.
