Forza Horizon 5 is available on PS5 through the PlayStation Store, but the official sources reviewed do not list a PS5 disc edition or announce a date when the game will be delisted. Forza Horizon 4’s delisting gives players a reason to ask about FH5’s long-term availability; it does not establish that FH5 will be removed or when.
Is there a physical PS5 edition of Forza Horizon 5?
No PS5 disc edition is listed in the official sources reviewed. Playground Games directed PS5 buyers to the PlayStation Store when the game launched on the console, and the US PlayStation product page lists the PS5 game, editions and add-ons. That supports a digital-store purchase route; it is not an exhaustive claim about every regional or limited-run product.

Playground Games announced the PS5 version on January 30, 2025, and said it would include the same content as the Xbox and PC versions, including previously released expansions and car packs. General PS5 access began April 29, 2025. The launch announcement pointed purchasers to the PlayStation Store, where availability and offers can vary by region and change over time.
Does the lack of a disc mean FH5 is about to be delisted?
No. The official sources reviewed do not announce a Forza Horizon 5 delisting date. A digital-only listing does not, by itself, show that a game is about to leave a store.

The concern is understandable because Playground Games announced that Forza Horizon 4 would leave Microsoft Store and Steam on December 15, 2024, citing licensing and partner agreements. The notice said existing owners could continue to download and play the game. That history is a precedent for concern about licensed content, not a timetable or confirmation for FH5.
What is the difference between FH5 retail discs and a PS5 disc?
Forza Horizon 5 had retail discs for its original release. On October 18, 2021, Playground Games said the game had gone gold and was being sent for pressing of retail discs. That announcement concerns the original release, not a PS5 edition.

A physical Xbox copy is a different platform product and is not a PS5 version. Check the platform and edition on a retailer listing before buying; the existence of original-release discs does not establish current stock of any particular copy.

What can PS5 players do if they want the game?
- Open the Forza Horizon 5 page on the US PlayStation Store, or search for the game in the PlayStation Store for your own region.
- Check the listed edition and included content before purchasing. Store editions, add-ons, prices and offers may differ by region and change over time.
- If considering a physical copy, confirm that the listing is for Xbox rather than PS5. An Xbox disc does not provide a PS5 copy.
