The available record does not identify the cause or a specific fix. If the problem is recurring for you, report the details through Forza’s official channels rather than assuming it is the same issue.
What the Forza Horizon 5 search issue was
The official Forza Community forum recorded a report titled “UI – Vinyl and Photo search is not working for some players – 3900703”. A later moderator post referred to it as a known issue, and the listing is now marked fixed/closed.
Players said searches returned no results for vinyl designs or photos they believed were available. One described the message as “No Results exist for your search.” These are individual player reports, not proof that all players or platforms were affected. The record does not explain the root cause, identify the fix, or establish a specific affected platform or region.
What “fixed/closed” means—and what it does not
The status documents how Forza marked that forum report. It does not guarantee that every player recovered, nor does it show that a similar symptom occurring later has the same cause. A search that returns no results may resemble the historical report, but the available information is not enough to diagnose a current case.

What to do if vinyl or photo search still returns no results
The official Forza pages do not give a specific workaround for this reported search problem. For a current recurrence, use the route that matches what you need to report:
- Forza Feedback Portal: Forza identifies this as the route for bug reports and suggestions.
- Forza Support: Forza identifies Support for account issues and publishes release notes and FAQs there.
When submitting a bug report, include details that can help distinguish your case: your platform, the approximate time it happened, the exact search term, whether the failure affects vinyl search, photo search, or both, and whether other online features work. These are useful diagnostic details to provide, not an official prescribed fix.

How to describe the symptom accurately
Be specific about what fails instead of reporting only that “search is broken.” For example, say whether a particular vinyl or photo search returns no results, whether both categories are affected, and whether other online features appear to work. The historical accounts included a player who said other online functions continued to work, but that observation does not establish that connectivity is healthy in every case.
