When does Forza Horizon 6 come out on PS5?
Playground Games lists January 26, 2027, as the PS5 release date for the Standard and Deluxe editions. Premium Edition access is scheduled to begin January 21, 2027. The publisher describes this as five days early, while the US PlayStation Store Premium listing says “Play 4 days early starting January 21.” The calendar dates are consistent; the early-access labels are not. Neither source establishes an exact unlock time or a global release schedule. Playground Games’ announcement and the US Premium listing provide the dates and wording.
Which PS5 edition should you pre-order?
The US PlayStation Store listed these digital edition prices and contents when accessed October 9, 2026. Prices and product details can change, so check the live listing before purchase.
| Edition | US price listed October 9, 2026 | Included content | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $69.99 | Full game | Players who want the game without the listed add-on bundles. |
| Deluxe | $99.99 | Full game, Welcome Pack, and Car Pass | Players who want those two add-ons but not the Premium bundle. |
| Premium | $119.99 | Full game, Welcome Pack, Car Pass, VIP Membership, Expansions 1 and 2, Time Attack Car Pack, and Italian Passion Pack | Players who want the listed bundle and January 21 access. |
The announcement says Expansion 1 arrives January 21 and Expansion 2 later; it also says Expansion 1 can be bought separately. Separate prices for the add-ons are not established here, so the edition list alone does not prove which package is the best value. See the US PlayStation Store edition listing for current availability and contents.

What do you get for pre-ordering?
Pre-ordering any PS5 edition is advertised with a pre-tuned Ferrari J50. It is a digital in-game bonus, not a physical model or collectible. According to Playground Games, the car is added to your in-game garage after you start playing and complete the prologue. The bonus is described in the official announcement.
Can you buy a physical PS5 disc?
Yes. Playground Games says a PS5 disc edition will be available at supporting retailers, alongside the digital editions on the PlayStation Store. The announcement does not name retailers or guarantee local stock, so check the seller’s live listing for the exact format and edition before ordering. Physical availability is stated in the publisher announcement.
Does the PS5 version support cross-play and cross-save?
Playground Games says PS5 supports cross-platform play and cross-save with Xbox and Steam. It also says user-created content can be shared across platforms, including EventLab races, Prefabs, Garages, Estates, liveries, and tuning setups. For cross-platform play, the US PlayStation Store says a Microsoft account is required. Online multiplayer on console requires a separately sold PlayStation Plus subscription. These features and conditions are described by the publisher and the US Store listing.
What PS5 performance modes have been announced?
Playground Games says the PS5 trailer was captured on a base PlayStation 5 in 4K 30FPS Quality mode and that a 60FPS Performance mode will be available. This is the publisher’s announced mode description, not an independent test of the released game’s resolution, frame-rate stability, or visual differences. The mode statement appears in the official announcement.
