There is no official or statistically verified FragPunk Lancer ranking for October 2026. This is an editorial guide to choosing Lancers by team role, map fit, and how consistently their kits can deliver value—not a measured win-rate list. The official patch notes reviewed through September 23 report no Lancer balance changes in those two September updates, but that does not establish that competitive strength has stayed the same.
How to read this FragPunk Lancer tier list
FragPunk’s official updates explain character abilities and dated balance changes; they do not publish a current tier ranking. No reliably attributable October 2026 Lancer pick-rate or win-rate data is available here. Treat any tier placement as judgment, not a proven performance result.
Use the tiers as a starting point for choosing a Lancer, then adjust for the objective, map geometry, your team’s needs, and your own execution. A character lower in a broad ranking can be the better pick when their specific utility answers a problem your team has.
- Role and team value: Consider whether you need information, control, entry, sustain, defense, or area denial.
- Mode and map: Sightlines, chokepoints, and objective layout can make a kit more or less useful.
- Consistency and execution: Factor in how much a Lancer depends on aim, timing, or coordination to provide value.
- Patch recency: Balance changes can alter a kit; check dated official notes rather than assuming an old ranking still applies.
Current patch context
The official May 21, 2026 update introduced Calamity and documented balance adjustments to several Lancers. The September 16 and September 23, 2026 patch notes announce events and rewards but do not report Lancer balance changes. These notes establish what those updates changed or did not announce; they do not prove that any character is competitively stronger or weaker today.

Calamity
FragPunk describes Calamity as excelling at stealth assassinations and sustained combat. Damage she deals is converted into stored Bloodbane; at maximum, she gains a powerful buff. Sympathy for the Devil spends Bloodbane to heal her, while Angel of Death consumes HP for brief invulnerability and passage through hazardous areas. The same official update records these changes. They are dated values and may be superseded by later adjustments.

Recent community rankings are opinions, not official standings. A creator published a “Season 5 FragPunk Lancer Tier List” on July 3, 2026, before this October assessment. A July 16 Reddit post explicitly presented a personal list, and replies disagreed about placements. Neither source establishes an October ranking or character performance statistics.
That disagreement is useful context: players can reasonably value different roles, maps, and execution demands. Use a community list to find candidates to try, not as proof that one Lancer is universally best. July 3 creator video · July 16 community discussion
