SteamCharts recorded a monthly average of 40,758 concurrent Steam players in March and 1,356 in December. Those are Steam concurrency figures—not unique people who played during a month and not a total for every platform.
How many people played FragPunk in 2025?
The clearest public figures are for Steam. SteamCharts lists an all-time peak of 113,243 concurrent Steam players, reached during the March 2025 launch period. Its monthly averages and peaks show how activity changed over the year:

What do the numbers say about FragPunk’s 2025 trend?
Steam activity dropped steeply after launch. The March average includes the launch period, when the game reached its highest recorded concurrent Steam count. April’s average was less than a quarter of March’s, and the average continued downward through September. October brought a modest increase—from 1,862.56 to 1,913.20—before averages declined again in November and December.

This is a measure of FragPunk’s Steam concurrency, not proof that the same share of all players left the game. It does not show how many people played on Epic Games Store or consoles, how many unique people played during a month, or whether a particular player could find a match in a particular region or mode.
Why is there no single all-platform player count?
FragPunk launched worldwide on PC on March 6, 2025, as a free-to-play 5v5 hero shooter on Steam and Epic Games Store, according to NetEase’s launch announcement. NetEase said the game passed 110,000 peak concurrent Steam players within three days; its Q1 investor presentation also reported that milestone and a No. 6 position on Steam’s global top sellers chart (NetEase Q1 2025 investor presentation).

The game later launched on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on April 29, 2025. NetEase announced crossplay and cross-progression between console and PC in its console launch announcement. The reviewed public sources do not give a combined concurrent count across Steam, Epic, PlayStation, and Xbox, nor a total of registered players or unique monthly players.
NetEase reported that FragPunk ranked No. 2 on PlayStation’s North America free-to-play download chart in May 2025 in its Q2 2025 earnings release. That ranking indicates download-chart visibility, but it is not a player count and cannot be converted into an all-platform population estimate.

How to check FragPunk’s current Steam count
SteamCharts also displays a changing live Steam snapshot. At 23:11 UTC on October 7, 2026, it showed 482 players in-game and a 24-hour peak of 722. Its latest completed month at the time was September 2026, with an average of 680.82 concurrent Steam players and a peak of 1,281. These are dated snapshots, not a current 2025 count; the live number changes continually. For the latest available values, consult the SteamCharts FragPunk page.
SteamCharts is an independent tracker, not Valve, and describes its data as powered by Steam. Use it for Steam concurrency only. For useful comparisons, match the metric and period—for example, monthly average against monthly average, rather than comparing one game’s monthly average with another game’s launch peak.
