Where to find Frigid Finger
Look for a chest in a corner of a room on B1F of Dragonsbreath Tower. Game8 notes that the tower area is visited during the quest A New Godsway; its tower guide describes reaching the area by ropeway from Bakbattahl toward Wyrmsblood Forest. That is guide context, not the only route claimed to reach the tower. Game8’s Frigid Finger guide and Gamer Guides’ weapon entry both place the chest on B1F.

Frigid Finger stats and ice effect
The game’s item description, reproduced by the item reference, reads: “A staff the color of a winter lake, admired among collectors for the entangled dragons comprising its design. Its ice enchantment is everlasting.” The lasting ice enchantment is the staff’s defining feature.

These are the guide’s published figures, not independently confirmed current values. A June 2026 Steam discussion relays a player’s claim that Magick increased from 270 to 355, but it is not an official patch note or a verified current database listing. Which enhancement should you choose?
The item reference presents smithing styles with different priorities, plus Wyrmfire enhancement. For a Mage, the decision is about the stat you want to emphasize rather than a universally best upgrade:
- Elven smithing: level-three Elven enhancement favors Magick.
- Dwarven smithing: favors Knockdown Power.
- Wyrmfire enhancement: is described as reducing the staff’s weight.
Those comparisons come from the item reference’s listed baseline. Because a later Magick adjustment has been reported but not verified, do not assume exact upgraded totals from older listings will match your current game. Is Frigid Finger worth using?
It is worth considering if you want a staff with an everlasting ice enchantment and can use its B1F chest location to obtain it during exploration. Choose an enhancement to match your build: Magick for spell output, Dwarven smithing for knockdown, or Wyrmfire for reduced weight. Published base stats and precise costs may not reflect later game changes, so verify current values in-game before planning around them.
