Whether the licensed settings make that structure compelling is a matter of taste: recognizing a world or character can add a lot for fans, while the familiar action-and-puzzle framework may matter more to players who are not invested in the franchises.
Does Funko Fusion get repetitive?
MeriStation’s review argues that the adventure repeats familiar patterns, specifically saying the gameplay structure reuses the first world’s patterns to excess. That is one outlet’s criticism, not a consensus rating, and it should not be mistaken for a hands-on assessment here. Steam’s storefront snapshot captured on October 8, 2026 showed 63% positive among 663 overall user reviews and 45% positive among 35 recent reviews. Does Funko Fusion have co-op?
Universal Products & Experiences announced online co-op for one to four players, initially across three of the game’s seven main story worlds: Jurassic World, Hot Fuzz and Battlestar Galactica. That describes the launch configuration in the announcement; it does not establish the current support for every platform or world. Check the live store listing or update notes for the platform you plan to use. See the co-op announcement.
Nintendo’s US Switch listing reports one player on a single system. That listing does not establish local co-op, and the online co-op announcement should not be read as confirming local multiplayer on Switch. Check Nintendo’s Switch listing for its stated player information.
Which platforms and editions are available?
Official pages document Funko Fusion on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The release dates listed for PlayStation are September 13, 2024 for PS5 and November 15, 2024 for PS4; Nintendo lists December 6, 2024 for Switch. Universal Products & Experiences announced a Digital Deluxe Edition for PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, plus a physical Nintendo Switch Deluxe Edition, on August 22, 2025. At that time, it described the package as including approximately $45 worth of DLC: previously released paid content, pre-order bonus DLC unavailable separately on digital storefronts, and free DLC. It also described a Steam “complete the set” bundle and an exclusive upgrade pack. These were the contents and offer in that dated announcement, not a guarantee of current price, stock or availability. Choose by platform and format
- Start with the platform you own. Check its live product page for current availability, edition contents and price in your region.
- Decide between physical and digital. The announcement identifies a physical Switch Deluxe Edition; confirm that the listing still offers the edition and contents you want.
- Compare standard and Deluxe carefully. DLC bundles and included bonuses vary by edition and storefront, so do not assume the 2025 announcement describes what a current listing includes.
- Check multiplayer for your exact platform. The announcement documents online co-op at launch, while Nintendo’s listing reports one player on a single Switch system.
Accessibility and age rating
The PlayStation product page lists large text, color alternatives, individual volume controls, basic and large subtitles, basic controller remapping, stick sensitivity and inversion options, offline pausing, and ping communication that can mark points of interest without voice or text entry.
