There is no universal gift-code list or redemption site for every game. Codes belong to a specific publisher, game, account, platform, or region, and they can expire. Start with the game’s official support or redemption page, check that the code matches the game and account you intend to use, and follow that publisher’s instructions.
What kind of game code do you have?
“Gift code” can mean different things. A free promotional code may unlock an item or reward. A purchased gift card or retail code usually adds stored value or game currency; it is not necessarily a free-item code. Check the card or message for the game, publisher, reward type, region, and any expiry or redemption terms before entering it.

- Promo or reward code: typically claims a specified in-game reward. Use the game publisher’s official redemption route.
- Gift card or retail code: may add currency or account credit. Confirm which account is signed in before redeeming; some products bind value to the selected account or device.
For example, Roblox documents both retail codes and gift-card redemption, while Epic distinguishes Fortnite reward codes, V-Bucks cards, and the newer Fortnite gift-card rollout. Those products and flows are publisher-specific, not interchangeable. Roblox Retail Codes; Fortnite card information.
How to find the right redemption page
- Identify the game and publisher named on the code or card.
- Open that publisher’s official support site or redemption page. Avoid third-party pages that ask for your password or promise a universal code list.
- Check platform and region requirements, then sign in to the account that should receive the reward.
- Enter the code exactly as provided and confirm the redemption. If the publisher directs you to collect the reward in-game, do that promptly.
Official code instructions explain how to redeem particular products; they do not establish a comprehensive live list of active codes across games. Any active-code list should name the game and show when it was checked. Do not assume a code found in an old post is still valid.

Official redemption examples
Roblox gift cards and retail codes
Roblox’s standard browser flow is to visit Roblox.com/redeem, sign in, enter the code, and select Redeem. Roblox says a confirmation appears when credit or an item is added. Standard mobile apps and consoles do not support most code redemptions; Samsung Galaxy users are an exception and can redeem through the app’s More page. Roblox retail codes are also redeemed in a browser. Mini Pack coins are individually coded and redeem for Robux; Party Pack cards also redeem for Robux. Make sure the intended Roblox account is signed in first: Roblox says redeemed retail-code Robux goes to the account currently logged in. If a code is rejected, check easily confused letters and numbers and confirm you are on the official site.

Fortnite and Epic Games codes
Epic’s Fortnite reward-code page requires an Epic Games account and separates V-Bucks redemption from other reward codes. Follow the route that matches your code rather than entering every code in the same place.
A V-Bucks card is tied to the account or device selected during redemption and cannot be transferred or withdrawn, according to Epic. V-Bucks cards may also have territory restrictions, and Nintendo-device V-Bucks have a platform-specific limitation. Fortnite gift cards are replacing V-Bucks cards in a rollout across regions; the newer gift card can cover a broader set of Epic purchases, while a V-Bucks card is limited to V-Bucks. Check Epic’s current regional terms and availability before redeeming or directing someone to a particular card type.

Genshin Impact codes
HoYoverse’s instructions, updated October 3, 2025, direct players to the official Genshin Impact gift page to enter a code. After successful redemption, the rewards are sent to the account’s in-game mail. HoYoverse says that mail typically expires after 30 days, so collect the rewards rather than leaving them unclaimed.
Why a gift code may not work
Check these issues before trying again:
- Wrong game or code type: a reward code, retail code, V-Bucks card, and gift card may use different redemption routes.
- Wrong account: the reward may go to the account currently signed in or selected during redemption. Verify the account before submitting.
- Platform mismatch: some publishers restrict where codes can be redeemed or where the resulting currency can be used.
- Region restriction: a card or code may only work in a specified territory.
- Typing error: recheck lookalike letters and numbers, and enter the code as printed.
- Expired or already redeemed: check the code’s terms and purchase or delivery details. If it still fails, contact the publisher through its official support channel.

Are gift codes the same as gift cards?
No. A free promo code generally grants a specified reward, while a purchased gift card or retail code generally represents currency or stored value. The distinction matters because the redemption page, account binding, platform support, and region rules may differ. Read the publisher’s terms for the specific code in hand; a card does not imply access to unrelated free promo codes.
Where can you find active codes?
Look first at the game publisher’s official website, support pages, or official announcements. Confirm the game, eligible region or platform, and any stated expiration date. The official pages linked above explain redemption for Roblox, Fortnite, and Genshin Impact; they are examples, not a complete directory of games or a live inventory of active codes. A code list is only useful when it is specific to a game and current as of a stated date.
