What was the release window for Game of Thrones: Kingsroad?
Netmarble first announced a broad 2025 launch plan on December 13, 2024. On April 29, 2025, it set May 21 as the scheduled launch date and said a new trailer had been released to mark the announcement. The publisher confirmed the game was available on May 21, so the release window is now a historical update rather than a future date.

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is a licensed action-adventure RPG set during season four of HBO’s series. Its story follows a new character who becomes heir to House Tyre, a small noble house in the North. Netmarble and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced the game on December 13, 2024, with the license granted by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on behalf of HBO.
Who can play, and what platforms were announced?
Netmarble listed mobile platforms and PC distribution through Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Windows Launcher. The May 21 launch notice named the Americas, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and the Middle East as availability regions, while saying Asia timing would be announced later. These announcements do not establish current availability in every country.

Which classes can players choose?
The publisher identified three classes: Sellsword, Knight, and Assassin. The announcement also described a character creator, with the player taking the role of the new heir to House Tyre.

In the December 2024 announcement, Netmarble CEO Young-sig Kwon said: “We believe Game of Thrones is a world rich with untold stories and adventures, and we’re pleased to bring Westeros to life in an exciting new way for gamers.” The announcement also identifies A Song of Ice and Fire as the book series behind Game of Thrones.
