Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is scheduled for its Grand Launch on May 21, 2026, according to Netmarble’s April 17, 2026 schedule notice. PC pre-launch is scheduled for May 14; the notice does not give an exact launch time.

The Game of Thrones: Kingsroad team said in its April 17, 2026 notice: “The official release will begin with a pre-launch on the PC platform, followed by the Grand Launch.” The same notice describes the Grand Launch as taking place across all platforms, while its platform row lists the mobile storefronts above.
What is the difference between PC pre-launch and Grand Launch?
The schedule separates the PC start from the later Grand Launch. The PC pre-launch date is May 14, while the event Netmarble calls the Grand Launch is May 21. The notice does not explain any additional differences in access or content between those phases.
What time does Kingsroad launch, and where?
Netmarble has not specified an exact launch hour in the April 17 notice. The team wrote: “Specific details regarding the official launch time will be shared through a future notice.” The schedule also does not provide a country-by-country availability list for 2026.

Netmarble’s earlier 2025 announcement described a separate rollout planned for the Americas, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and the Middle East, with Asia timing to follow. Those were the territories stated for the 2025 release, not a country-level confirmation of the 2026 schedule.
Why the year matters: Kingsroad also launched in 2025
The May 21 date can cause confusion because Netmarble had already announced and confirmed a May 21, 2025 release. Its April 29, 2025 announcement named mobile and PC platforms, including Steam, Epic Games Store, and Windows Launcher; on May 21, 2025, Netmarble said the game was available on mobile and PC. The April 2026 schedule is a later, separately dated announcement and should not be mistaken for the game’s first release.

What kind of game is Kingsroad?
Netmarble describes Game of Thrones: Kingsroad as an action-adventure RPG in which a new protagonist becomes heir to House Tyre, a small northern noble house. Its announcement names three playable classes—Knight, Sellsword, and Assassin—and places the story in Westeros, including locations such as King’s Landing, Castle Black, Highgarden, and the Wall. These are publisher descriptions, not independent assessments of gameplay.
