That headline alone does not confirm a new game, and the official Conquest schedule identifies “The Rise of Dragons” as event content.

What else is in the October Conquest preview?
The October update is framed around the game’s ninth anniversary. The preview says Military III and Dragon Combat research trees are planned for October 7 and mentions research-related event discounts and anniversary login rewards. It also lists quality-of-life changes: reinforcement sorting, bookmark organization, recipe favoriting, a Dragon Lore counter, and a “Craftable Now” gear filter.
