If you want to keep serving customers and hearing their stories, try VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action or The Red Strings Club. None is a full substitute for Nivalis Nights: it is a cyberpunk life and business simulation, not a conventional combat-focused RPG.
What kind of game is Nivalis Nights?
Nivalis Nights is developed by ION LANDS and published by 505 Games. Steam lists it as Adventure, RPG, and Simulation, while the official site describes it as a cyberpunk life sim. The Steam description calls its structure a “slice-of-life simulation.” Those labels matter: expect daily choices, business growth, relationships, and city activities rather than an RPG built primarily around combat.
You start with a noodle stand and can grow into restaurants and nightclubs. The store description also highlights buying or growing ingredients, fishing and exploring by boat, decorating your home, building relationships, character stories, mini-games, and risks associated with the city’s curfew. The core tension is how to spend each day: improving your business or making time for the people who live in the city. Steam’s product description puts it this way: “In this slice-of-life simulation, every day is a choice: will you spend it growing your business or forging bonds with the city’s strange inhabitants?”
ION LANDS originally announced the game as Nivalis. On June 30, 2026, the studio announced the title change to Nivalis Nights, describing it as the same cyberpunk life simulation and giving a planned Steam release date of September 29, 2026. Steam now records September 29, 2026 as the release date. The official site describes the game as featuring more than 100 voiced characters; that is a developer-published feature claim.

Cloudpunk: the closest match for Nivalis
Choose Cloudpunk if your favorite part of Nivalis Nights is its city and cyberpunk atmosphere. Its official Steam description centers on courier Rania’s journeys through Nivalis and the people she meets. That makes it the clearest setting match on this list, but not a management match: you will not be growing a noodle stand into a nightlife business or shaping a domestic routine.
VA-11 Hall-A: serve drinks, hear stories
VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action is the most direct pick if you want service work to frame the characters’ stories. Its official Steam description places you behind the bar, serving patrons and listening to them in a cyberpunk world. The overlap is the intimate, customer-facing perspective; it does not offer Nivalis Nights’ wider mix of business growth, home decoration, relationships, and city activities.
