The February 2023 Games with Gold lineup was For the King and Guts N Goals, available for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S during separate claim windows. Games with Gold ended in September 2023, so these are historical dates—not an active offer.
What were the Games with Gold for February 2023?
Xbox Wire announced two games on January 30, 2023. The announcement described the benefit as available to Xbox Live Gold members and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members, which included Gold benefits at the time.
| Game | Claim window in 2023 | ERP listed by Xbox | Platforms |
|---|---|---|---|
| For the King | February 1–28 | $24.99 | Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S |
| Guts N Goals | February 16–March 15 | $14.99 | Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S |
ERP is the value listed in Xbox’s announcement; it is not evidence of either game’s current retail price. Xbox introduced For the King as an adventure and Guts N Goals as an unconventional soccer game. Read Xbox Wire’s February 2023 lineup announcement.
Can you still claim these games through Games with Gold?
No. Xbox ended Games with Gold on September 1, 2023, and its current landing page says the program has been discontinued. The February 2023 claim windows have passed; this lineup is not a current monthly offer. Xbox’s Games with Gold page.

What happened to games already redeemed?
In its July 17, 2023 transition announcement, Xbox said previously redeemed Xbox One Games with Gold titles would remain accessible while the player remained a Game Pass Core or Game Pass Ultimate member. Previously redeemed Xbox 360 titles would remain in the player’s library regardless of subscription status. These were the terms Xbox stated for the transition in 2023; they should not be treated as a guarantee of current access under subscription tiers or rules that may have changed.
