What it is
Deponia is a point-and-click graphic adventure from Daedalic Entertainment, set on a planet reduced to a vast garbage dump. Rufus lives among the junk and hopes to reach the floating city above, where the wealthy live. When Goal falls from that upper world into a trash heap, Rufus decides to help her return to her husband; his plan becomes complicated when he develops feelings for her. The game centers on puzzles, character interactions and dialogue, with a comic presentation using hand-drawn 2D graphics. On Steam, Deponia is a single-player adventure with achievements, trading cards, Steam Cloud and Family Sharing. Remote Play is listed for phones and tablets. It is available on Windows, macOS and Linux, and its Steam release date is August 6, 2012.
