What it is
Oddworld: Soulstorm is a cinematic platformer about Abe and the Mudokons after 300 freshly liberated slaves escape RuptureFarms. Their physical escape does not mean they are free: a new threat emerges, and Abe must uncover the disinformation that has shaped his people’s understanding of their history. Players guide Abe through dusty canyons, abandoned mines, container yards and train terminals while scrounging for items and crafting tools. Followers can be armed, and encounters offer a choice between confronting enemies directly or taking a stealthier approach. The story continues the Oddworld Quintology and follows Abe and his comrades as they discover further crimes against Mudokonkind and seek a spark for revolution. Four possible endings are listed. The game is single-player and supports full controller input, Steam Achievements, Trading Cards, Steam Cloud and Family Sharing. It is developed and published by Oddworld Inhabitants and available on Windows.
