What it is
Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath is an action-adventure game about Stranger, a bounty hunter in the wastelands of Western Mudos. He captures outlaws for bounty money because he needs an expensive operation, while keeping the nature of his illness secret. The job changes when he accepts a major bounty from the owner of the Mongo River. Combat uses live ammunition made from critters: Chippunks can distract enemies, Bolamite can ensnare them, and Stingbees and explosive bats can deal damage. Players take missions from the Bounty Store and can speak with townsfolk to learn where targets are. The game offers first- and third-person play, three difficulty modes, unlockables, and achievements. Its Steam listing is a single-player Windows game with achievements and Family Sharing. Other listed platforms include PlayStation 3, macOS, and PlayStation Vita.
