What it is
Take On Mars is a simulation game about robotic and human exploration of Mars. In the Space Program campaign, players direct rovers, landers, or probes across vast distances to gather scientific data and research technology for new equipment. A second campaign follows astronaut Mark Willis, the survivor of a troubled first crewed mission. As a mechanical engineer cut off from Earth, he must survive and build machinery that could help him return home. Sandbox Survival multiplayer lets friends join and leave online, work together to gather raw materials from Martian soil, refine compounds, and use a 3D printer to build habitat panels. Developed and published by Bohemia Interactive, the Windows game includes single-player, multiplayer, and co-op, along with Steam Workshop, achievements, trading cards, Family Sharing, and partial controller support. It was released on Steam on February 9, 2017.
