What it is

Trine 2 is a puzzle-platform game from Frozenbyte, set in a fairytale world of ruins, goblins and elaborate contraptions. Its three heroes bring different ways to move through the world: Amadeus the Wizard conjures boxes and planks, Pontius the Knight charges into obstacles, and Zoya the Thief uses a rope and arrows. You can play the twenty-level campaign alone, switching between heroes, or with up to two friends in online or local co-op. The levels combine physics-based puzzles, platforming, combat, hazards and enemies, with challenges that can often be solved in different ways. The game also includes the Goblin Menace expansion campaign and a soundtrack by Ari Pulkkinen. Listed platforms include Windows, Linux, macOS, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PlayStation Portable; Steam lists Windows, macOS and Linux. Steam features include cross-platform multiplayer, split-screen co-op, controller support, achievements and trading cards.
