GameStop Canada advertised Dragon Age: The Veilguard for CAD $59.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S from December 6 through December 15, 2024. That was CAD $30 below the reported regular price of CAD $89.99. The promotion has expired; it was a Canadian deal, not a current offer or a U.S. GameStop price.
What the GameStop offer included
MobileSyrup reported on December 5, 2024 that GameStop Canada planned to discount the console versions for a ten-day period. The reported prices and platforms were:
| Platform | Reported regular price | Reported sale price | Price difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| PS5 | CAD $89.99 | CAD $59.99 | CAD $30 |
| Xbox Series X/S | CAD $89.99 | CAD $59.99 | CAD $30 |
The CAD $30 reduction is the difference between the two prices reported by MobileSyrup’s December 5, 2024 report; it is not a separate published statistic. The reported offer dates were December 6–15, 2024.
Is the $30 discount available now?
No. The advertised sale ended on December 15, 2024. The available reporting establishes the historical promotion, but does not establish current GameStop prices or physical stock. Any present-day listing would need to be checked separately and should not be described as this expired deal.

How this deal differs from other prices
The GameStop promotion concerned PS5 and Xbox Series X/S console copies sold in Canada, with prices in Canadian dollars. It does not establish a U.S. price or a current price for the PC edition.
EA identifies Dragon Age: The Veilguard as a single-player RPG released October 31, 2024, available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Its official product and buy page is a separate source for platform and digital-store information; a digital price shown there is not a GameStop console offer. EA’s August 15, 2024 launch announcement listed original U.S. standard-edition launch prices of $69.99 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S and $59.99 for PC. Those historical U.S. launch prices differ in country, date, and edition context from the Canadian GameStop promotion, so they are not direct comparisons.
