But that mutation-delivery quest was later reported removed in Update 3, and March 2026 update notes describe a different IGMA turn-in activity with Rosalind. Treat older Maya walkthroughs as historical: whether her quest or appraisal interaction is available in the current live game has not been confirmed.
How Maya’s original Botanist quest worked
In the original IGMA event guides, Maya stood beside Molly’s Gear Shop near the central fountain. Players spoke to her and selected the third dialogue option to view a delivery request. The request called for crops with a particular mutation and a target total weight. Requirements could differ between players, and the same mutation could reportedly be requested again, so the in-game request—not another player’s task list—was the one to follow.
- Find Maya near Molly’s Gear Shop, by the central fountain, if she is present in your version of the game.
- Speak with her and choose the third dialogue option to view the request.
- Check both the required mutation and total weight before growing or submitting crops.
- Submit matching crops. A March 1, 2026 event guide said multiple fruits could count toward the combined weight and described a “Donate All Matching Crops” option.
These steps describe the earlier quest loop, not a verified walkthrough for the current live build.
Historical task weights and rewards
The March 1, 2026 Garden Horizons Wiki event guide reported the following mutation thresholds and standard IGMA Seed Pack rewards. Its list is not established as exhaustive, and these are event-era values rather than confirmed current requirements.

That guide also reported a bonus Premium IGMA Seed Pack after 40 deliveries. This was an event reward in the historical guide, not a confirmed offer in the current game.

What changed in later updates
Garden Horizons Calculator’s update mirror, which attributes its patch information to the official Discord, says version 1.2.5 fixed a bug where Maya’s quest displayed the required weight as complete without finishing the task. That is a record of a historical fix, not evidence that the bug remains.
The same mirror’s notes for version 1.3.0, dated March 14, 2026, describe turning Strange plants in to Rosalind for milestone rewards. Separately, the Garden Horizons community wiki’s Maya page says her mutation-delivery quest was removed in Update 3. Together, these sources document a change from the original Maya delivery loop; they do not establish whether Maya, her appraisal feature, or a related activity is currently available.

How to check whether Maya’s task is available now
Because current live-game availability is unconfirmed, check the game itself and current official announcements before farming specifically for Maya. If Maya appears, read her active dialogue and request rather than relying on the historical weight table. The official Roblox experience page describes Garden Horizons as a game about growing, harvesting, and building a garden, but does not confirm that Maya’s old quest is active.
